POWER UP
Insert 2 “AA” batteries into the Battery Compartment.
MOUNTING

Use the hole at the top to hang your sensor from the back using a nail. Or, insert one mounting screw through the front of your sensor.

Mount your sensor on a north-facing wall or in any shaded area.
Under an eave or deck rail is preferred to avoid inaccurate readings from the sun. -
The maximum wireless transmission range to the weather station is up to 400 feet (121 meters) in open air, not including walls or floors.

Be sure your sensor is mounted vertically, to allow moisture to drain out properly.

CONNECT TO LA CROSSE VIEW™ APP
If you already own a La Crosse View connected display, you can use your La Crosse View app to monitor your Rain Sensor’s readings right on your phone.
- Open your La Crosse View app and select ADD DEVICES from the main menu.
- Scan the Bar Code or type in the Device ID on the side of the Battery Compartment.
- Give the device a Name and Location, and press Save.
Within the next few minutes you should begin seeing your Sensor’s data within your app

CARE + MAINTENANCE
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix Alkaline, Lithium, standard, or rechargeable batteries.
- Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for intended use.
- Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
- Ensure the batteries have with correct polarity (+ / -).
- Remove batteries from equipment that will not to be used for an extended period.
- Promptly remove expired batteries.
