Mr Outdoors cookout MOCG18 Cast Aluminum Griddle User Guide
Introduction
THIS GRIDDLE IS MADE OF ALUMINUM AND IS INTENDED FOR USE ON A MR. OUTDOORS COOKOUT LOW PRESSURE BUTANE STOVE.
USING YOUR CAST AUMINUM GRIDDLE
Wash with hot water and liquid dish detergent, and dry thoroughly. Before
cooking, apply vegetable oil to the cooking surface.
ALWAYS use scratch resistant utensils on your griddle. Metal utensils should
be silicone coated to prevent from scratching the griddle’s non-stick coating.
WARNING: The griddle will become very hot on the stovetop. Always use oven mitts to prevent burns when removing griddle from the stovetop.
CLEANING YOUR CAST ALUMINUM GRIDDLE
After cooking, clean griddle with a non-abrasive cloth, liquid dish detergent,
and hot water.
Harsh detergents should never be used. Avoid putting a hot griddle into cold
water.
Thermal shock can occur causing the metal to warp or crack. Towel dry once the
griddle is clean and store in a cool, dry place.
If you have a Mr. Outdoors Cookout Camp Stove that came with a carry bag it is
safe to store the griddle inside along with the stove as long as the stove’s
porcelain drip pan or pans are upside down in the storage position, and the
cooking surface of the griddle is facing away from the stove to prevent
scratching of the cooking surface.
