Assembly

Tools Needed : Adjustable Wrenches (2)

  1. Rotate the 2 Bunker Bars to a vertical position on cart frame.
Use the 4 Bunker Bar Locking Pins w/Tether to hold Bunker Bars in place during the assembly process. Then turn cart upside down for wheel assembly.

  2. Remove Serrated Flange Nut from wheel axle (opposite side of the Black Knob).

  3. Rotate Inner Wheel Guard up, and insert wheel axle through tab. Secure with the Serrated Flange Nut . Tighten Serrated Flange Nut with wrench while using 2nd wrench to hold nuts on the other side of the metal tab.

  4. Undo Black Knob from wheel axle. Rotate inner wheel guard (with wheel) and outer wheel guard so the axle passes through hole in tab of the Outer Wheel Guard.
Re-attach Black Knob onto axle and tighten fully by hand.

  5. Repeat on other side then turn cart over and flip the kickstand down for balance to complete cart assembly. Note: the kickstand is purposely shorter than the wheel allowing the cart to tilt.

  6. Attach straps to cart by threading the end of each strap through loop on other end of strap pulling tight around tubing of cart. Place both long straps on one side of cart and both short cam lock straps on opposite side-at the 4 corners of the cart for stable transport.

  7. Adjust padded Bunker Bars to the width that fits the hull of your boat. There are 5 adjustment holes (2 on cart tab & 3 on bunker bar) giving Bunker Bar spacings of 9”, 11”, 13”, 19” or 20”.

Turn your boat upside down and place the cart near the center of the boat. Now adjust the Bunker Bars as shown in 7A and 7B.
A. Select one of the two holes in the tab on the cart frame. Use this same hole for all four connection points.
B. Select one of the three holes in the bunker bar lining it up with the hole in the tab. Use this same hole for all four connection points. The locking pins are secured to the cart frame by the tether.

Insert locking pins in appropriate holes to secure bunker bars in use position.

Use

  1. Position the cart next to the center of the boat with the kickstand down. Angle the cart at about 15 degrees to the boat (see video for demonstration of loading a center cart)
Note: The kickstand is designed to be shorter than the cart so the cart tilts as shown. This allows for easy retraction of the kickstand without it hanging up on the ground.

  2. Lift one end of the boat and pivot, setting it down on the Bunker Bars of the cart. The cart will now tilt so that one end of the boat rests on the ground.

  3. Use the straps to secure the boat to the cart.

  4. Lift one end of the boat, kick the kickstand up and away you go!

Storage

Cart folds flat for storage by removing (by hand) the outer Black Knob from each wheel, then folding wheels inwards. Put knob back on axle.

Care

Rinse cart after each use to remove sand, salt & mud
