HM653910 Hand Mixer Tefal Powermix Silence
INSRUCTTIONS
Dear customer, thank you for choosing our hand mixer, Power mix Silence!
Please find here all the information you may need about its use. We hope you
will enjoy it!
N.B.: A booklet containing safety guidelines is provided with this
appliance.
Before using your appliance for the first time, please read the booklet
carefully and keep it in a safe place.
Before use, remove all accessories from their packaging and clean them using
hot water and a little washing up liquid, except moto unit (A). Rinse well and
dry thoroughly.
USING HAND MIXER
- Check that the speed control (A2) is set to “0”.
- Insert the rod of each beater (B) or kneader (D) into the corresponding holes and lock into place until “click”. The beaters and kneaders have a specific shape, the kneader or beater with the beater marker (C) should be positioned to the right, in the biggest hole.
- Connect the appliance:
- Your appliance has speeds aviator and a Turbo button. Always begin mixing or kneading at setting low position initially, then move to setting high position.
- After finishing, set the speed control (A2) to “0”.
- Disconnect.
- Then press the ejection button (A1) to remove the beaters or mixers.
USING THE BASE (L)
*(ACCORDING TO MODEL)**
- Place the base (H) on the worktop.
- To raise the arm, unlock by pressing on the button (M)
- Position the bowl (K) (Fig 35).
- Press on button (M) to unlock the arm and lower it.
- Place the mixer (A), fitted with kneaders (F) or beaters (E), on the hinged arm until you hear it click into place The beaters and kneaders have a specific shape, the kneader or beater with the beater marker (G) should be positioned to the right, in the biggest hole.
- Connect the appliance as instructions above using hand mixer.
- After finishing, set the speed control (A2) to “0”.
- Disconnect and press the unlock button (M) to raise the hinged arm. Then press the mixer unlock button to remove the mixer from its stand.
- Then press the ejection button (A1) to remove the beaters or kneaders.
*USING THE HANDBLENDER FOOT (I) (ACCORDING TO MODEL)
** Check that the speed control (A2) is set to “0”.
- Remove the panel at the back of the appliance (A) and screw the handblown der foot (I) by turning clockwise without forcing it, until you will hear a small click, the rod is correctly positioned (Fig. 12 to 14).
- Connect the appliance:
- Dip the Mixer rod in the preparation before starting to avoid splashing.
- Start using the Eject button
- Stop the appliance before removing from the Blender rod (to avoid splashes).
If you feel resistance when tightening the rod it is not properly aligned.
You should remove it completely and re-screw correctly.
- Select setting “0”, disconnect the appliance and unscrew the handblown der rod (I) by turning anti-clockwise (Fig. 20).
*USING THE MINI-CHOPPER (N) (ACCORDING TO MODEL)**
- Put the blade with care inside the bowl, before ingredients, then place
- the motor bloc (Fig 27 and 28)
- Unscrew the panel at the back of the appliance (A) and fix the mini-chopper (N) (Fig 30).
- Connect the appliance:
- Start using the Eject button (A1)
- F or better use, hold the appliance (A) with one hand and the mini-chopper (N) with the other hand.
STORAGE
Do not store your appliance in a humid environment.
WHAT TO DO IF YOUR APPLIANCE DOES NOT WORK?
Check: that it is plugged in correctly. that the accessories are
correctly locked.
The position of the speed selector (A2): turn it to position “0” and then
select the desired speed again. Your appliance still does not work? Contact an
approved service center (see list in last page of this booklet).

recycling measures in force in your area. For disposing of the appliance
itself, please contact the appropriate service of your local authority.
