Introduction
Core i7-12700KF from Intel Water-cooled, ATX motherboard, Intel Z690 Chipset, 16GB DDR4 RGB, 1TB NVMe M.2, WiFi, and Windows 10 Home. 3x Display Port, 1x HDMI, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070. a 360mm radiator and closed-loop liquid cooling system. Clean cables are covered by the Full-Length PSU Power cover for a polished appearance.
HOW AIO COOLER WORKS
AIO coolers function similarly to an automobile radiator. A specific liquid is typically mixed with distilled water and a thermally conductive fluid, and it is circulated through a soft tubing system that is set up in a closed loop by a pump that is mounted on top of your CPU.
HOW TO REMOVE AIR FROM AIO
To assist in moving the air bubbles through the cooler, gently tilt the computer backwards and forwards. To remove the air bubbles from the pump chamber, switch the pump’s performance mode to “Extreme” and let the pump operate for an hour.
HOW TO KNOW IF LIQUID COOLING IS WORKING
Checking the Pump RPM is the only reliable way to know if your Liquid Cooling Pump is operating. Only if the pump cable is directly linked to a fan header on the motherboard will this be possible.
HOW TO REMOVE THERMAL PASTE FROM AIO
STEP 1: Start by using the microfiber cloth to wipe off as much thermal paste as you can safely off the top of your CPU.
STEP 2: Gently wipe the top of your CPU with a cotton swab after dipping the tip into rubbing alcohol to loosen any dried-out thermal paste.
FAQs
Is it acceptable to position an AIO in the case’s front?****
The optimal location to attach your AIO is on the front side with the tube side down for the majority of PC systems, especially those with open-air graphics cards.
How frequently should a liquid-cooled computer’s liquid be changed?****
To prevent particulate buildup and guarantee optimum thermal performance, we advise changing the fluid in your custom cooling system once every 12 months.
How long will a liquid-cooled computer operate?****
A well-built AIO water cooler should last you between three and six years. Customized solutions, however, typically don’t last as long. only 1 to 3 years on average without any kind of maintenance.
How much upkeep does a liquid-cooled computer need?****
While the pump won’t require routine maintenance, it’s a good idea to give your PC a coolant flush every few years using distilled water.
Can my AIO be mounted on top?****
When attempting to install an AIO liquid cooler, there are a number of factors to consider. the radiator’s position, the tube’s orientation, and the radiator fans’ airflow direction. The radiator can be mounted on the top, front, or bottom of a computer casing.
Does AIO require refilling?****
The “Closed Loop” liquid coolers used by MAINGEAR PCs require no upkeep and never need to be refilled or flushed.
Does a PC with liquid cooling vaporize?****
As it is heated, the coolant slowly evaporates through the tubing. Clear soft tubing exhibits this phenomenon the most noticeably, since a gradual decline in coolant level can be seen.
What occurs if a water-cooled computer leak?****
A leak is the worst thing that can happen to a computer that uses water cooling. Depending on how you handle this unusual situation, it could result in damage costing hundreds of dollars. Through a fractured or poorly fitted tube or block, liquid can pass through a closed loop.
How long can an AIO cooler be used?****
The average lifespan of an AIO is 3–7 years.
Is it challenging to keep liquid cooling?****
The fact that it’s a sealed device means that maintenance is minimal to nonexistent. They also don’t require topping off because they don’t evaporate like DIY setups do.
Do you need to replace the liquid cooling system?****
To prevent particulate buildup and guarantee optimum thermal performance, we advise changing the fluid in your custom cooling system once every 12 months.
How is power supplied to an AIO?****
SATA-Connector: The AIO’s Pump Motor as well as any RGB, LED-Display, or Tach- Features you may have will be powered by the SATA-Connector when it is plugged into a free SATA cable of your choice.
AIO water evaporates, right?****
With the aforementioned in mind, evaporation is the key concern for us. There is always some air present in an AiO system. Even a tiny amount of air will be present inside the system, and it is this air that may promote evaporation via the tubing.
How can I tell if my AIO is an exhaust or an intake?****
The convex side of the fan blade serves as the intake, and the concave side serves as the exhaust. Consequently, the air flow is directed as shown in the diagram below.
What AIO size do I require?****
A 120mm fan with an appropriate radiator length is the most common option and will work in most situations.
