FIRMAN 4550/3650 Watt Remote Start Gas Portable Generator

Before you can run your new generator, follow these simple instructions:

CAUTION
Failure to ramove these iteins can rasult In damage to your generator, possIble Personal Injury and vold your warranty.
Refer to the following instructions and pictures to remove the attached engine Support brackets (red) under the engine.
- Before filling the engine oil, tip the generator back onto its recoil frame end as indicated in this picture. Place the generator on the flattened cardboard box or other protective surface.
- Remove the Indicated bolts and nuts from the red engine support brackets. You may Luse the appropriate wrenches provlded.
- You may discard this brackets, as it is no longer required for normal operation of your generator.
Your generator is now ready for use. Reier to your owner’s manual for proper oil fill and startup instructions.
Instal the wheel kit
Slide the axle pin(A) through the wheel(B) and mount point on the frame and
flat washer(D).
Secure them with cotter pin(C).
Attach the support leg (G) to the generator frame with flange bolt (E) (M8X16) and flange lock nut(F) (M8).
Secure handle (K) to the frame using bolt (H) (M8x45) and flange nut (F) (M8).
Battery cable Connection
NOTE: The generator comes equipped with the positive (red) and negative {black) cables already attached to battery terminals.
- Cut wire lie that is binding the black batte,y cables A and B.
- Insert Iha male connector of cable A into female connector of cable B.
Add Lubricant and Fuel
Use a funnel to pour provided engine oil into engine. Fill to the upper mark of the oil dipstick H.
Use clean/fresh regular UNLEADED gasoline with a minimum 87 Octane.
Start Generator
Move generator outside to a flat, level surface, away fromm doors, windows and vents.
Do not overload generator or electrical cords. Consult operation manual.
Turn fuel valve under tank to ON () position
Turn engine switch located on control panel to RUN (1 position
Flip the battery switch to the ON (I) position
Remote Start
Push and release Iha START button
Elactrlc Start
- Move choke lever located on engine to START position
- Flip the engine switch to the START ( II ) position
- Move choke lever lo RUN Position
Recoil Start
- Move choke lever located on engine to START position
- Pull cord starter to start engine
- Move choke lever to RUN Position
Plug in items to be powered, using only grounded extension cords
Shuldown and Storage
Remove any load from the generator
Push and release the “‘STOP”” button on the remote control. SKIP THIS STEP, IF YOU ARE NOT USING REMOTE START
Run the generator at no load for 2 minutes and then turn engine switch to OFF (O) position
Flip the battery switch to the OFF Q) position
Turn fuel valve to
NOTE
THE BATTERY SWITCH ALWAYS SHOULD BE IN “OFF” (O) POSITION AT THE END DF USE TD
PREVENT BATTERY DRAIN.
