Depending on what you’re attempting, if you want to feed the iPad/lightning iPhone’s connector output to a projector, you WILL need an Apple Adapter. This works reasonably well, but not with all commercial feeds; for example, it works well with Netflix but not with BBC iPlayer. The device’s basic screen images are functional.
