Clean, Dry, Then Apply
- Completely scale, irrigate and polish all crown surfaces prior to the application of Clindoral, including any liquid treatments or hygiene rinses (fluoride and chlorhexidine). Products, such as plaque prevention gels or barrier sealants applied to teeth and gingival margin should be used following the application of Clindoral.
- Completely and thoroughly dry all the crowns with air syringe or gauze. In case of extraction sites, drying is not necessary because the clot presence is important for healing.
- Gently place the cannula at the base of the p eriodontal pocket of the affected tooth. Slowly place small amounts of Clindoral into each p eriodontal pocket and fill to the gingival margin.
- Allow the Clindoral to thicken and maintain animal in position until complete gelation of the product has occurred. Final product will not harden, but r emain a pliable gel matrix. If gel seems to run out, the pocket is full and you should move to the n ext pocket.
Do not use rinses, perform brushing or use any type of dental chews for l week after application of Clindoral.
