Installation
Access | Access D
Models with hoses that are already fitted to the mixer.
Fit the components in place in the sequence shown in the drawings (1–6). Note!
The hole for the mixer must have a diameter of 35 mm for models without a
dishwasher isolator and 38–40 mm for models with a dishwasher isolator. Then
connect the hoses to the hot and cold water supplies. Make sure that the hoses
are connected to the correct water supply (blue hose to cold water and red
hose to hot water). Check that the connecting hoses are tightened securely.
Note! Don’t forget to place F in G (see drawings 4 and 5).
Test the mixer connections for leaks after installation. If the mixer is connected to Soft PEX piping the piping must be clipped securely as close to the coupling as possible, see drawing 7. If the mixer has a dishwasher isolator, connect the hose as shown in diagram 8. The cold water hose provides cold water. If the dishwasher connection is not to be used, plug it, for example with a G15 hood in brass. When the mixer is fitted, check that all connections are secure. The mixer is connected without support rings in the flexible hoses.
After tightening : Counteract stress corrosion and check that the cone is tightened by loosening the compression nipple/nut and tightening it again lightly. Carry out a pressure test and check, tighten if necessary. Damage caused by stress corrosion occurring as a result of the nature of the water or surrounding environment, as well as incorrect installa-tion, shall not be covered by product liability.

B: Hole:
NOTE! For pull-out model (Harmonized K2P & K2P Square) the hose between the body and spout must be able to move freely. Ensure that no objects below the countertop block the space between the mixer and the spout.
C: Before installation:
The two bottom screws on the spout (#2) control the rotation (see illustration
C). The spout can be locked to 110° by tightening the middle screw while the
spout nozzle points in the opposite direction from the screws. By tightening
the bottom screw while the spout nozzle points in the opposite direction from
the screws, the spout can be locked at 0°. By loosening or removing the two
bottom screws, the rotation can be unlocked to 360°. Use a 2 mm hex key. NOTE!
The top screw must always be tightened because it holds the spout in place.
Installation:
- Place o-ring (#6) below the base ring of the spout.
- Thread the hose and threaded tube of the spout through the hole in the countertop.
- Thread the large gasket (#7) and washer (#8) over the threaded tube of the spout in the order of illustration
- Then screw on the threaded coupler (#9). Ensure that the spout is angled straight if the spout has been limited and that it is properly fastened in the countertop.
- Thread a small o-ring (#4), base ring (#5), and large o-ring (#6) over the mixer body in the order of illustration 4.
- Thread the hoses and threaded tube of the mixer body through the hole in the countertop.
- Thread a large gasket (#7) and washer (#8) in the order of illustration 6. Then screw on a threaded coupler (#9). Ensure that the handle is rotated in the desired angle, and that the mixer body is properly fastened in the countertop.
- Place gasket (#11) in the connection tube of the mixer body and then screw in place the spout hose according to illustration 7. Use the tool (#13).
For Harmonized K2P & K2P Square: Attach weight (#10) over the pull-out hose by the marking according to illustration 7. Attach the flexible hoses from the mixer body to hot and cold water respectively. Ensure that the hoses are connected to the correct water pipe (blue hose to cold water and red hose to warm water).
Check that the connecting hoses are tightened securely. Test the mixer connections for leaks after installation. If the mixer is connected to Soft PEX piping the piping must be clipped securely as close to the coupling as possible, see drawing 8. When the mixer is fitted, check that all connections are secure.
Troubleshooting
Uneven or weak flow:
Unscrew the nozzle from the spout and remove the small plastic insert. Soak it
in a solution of 1 part vinegar and 3 parts hot water for at least an hour.
See drawing that matches your model.
In case of frost:
Turn off the water and drain the mixer completely of water. Otherwise, there
is a risk of damage to the cartridge.
Dripping tap:
The cartridge must be replaced, see the diagram on the next page that matches
your model.
