PART 11: Maintenance and Care
Vehicle Cleaning
Water Cleaning Precautions
- Disconnect the vehicle’s power before cleaning. Do not touch any live parts, such as the battery’s charging and discharging ports, with wet hands or metal conductors.
- Do not spray water directly onto electrical components. When cleaning the vehicle, use a damp towel, wrung out, to wipe the exterior. For stubborn dirt, use a toothbrush. After cleaning, dry the vehicle with a soft cloth.
- Avoid spraying water on the charging port, wire harness connectors, and fuses. Do not pour water directly into storage compartments.
- Do not spray water directly on the brakes, motor, or front and rear axles to prevent water ingress that could affect the longevity of vehicle components.
- Do not use steam or high-pressure hoses to wash the vehicle.
Caution!
Do not use alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, or other corrosive or volatile
solvents for cleaning. These substances may damage the vehicle’s exterior and
internal structures. Avoid using high-pressure water guns or hoses to spray
the vehicle.
Storage
- Store the vehicle in a flat, stable, and dry location, preferably in a cool underground garage designated for parking. Avoid exposure to sunlight and rain to prevent rust and aging of components.
- If the battery is not used for an extended period, it is recommended to store it with a charge level of about 50%, and disconnect the battery plug. Failing to do so may significantly reduce the battery’s lifespan, and in severe cases, it could result in the battery being rendered unusable.
Caution!
During maintenance, check all parts for any abnormalities. If any issues are
found, contact after-sales support or an authorized service center.
Component Maintenance
Motor
- The motor does not require adjustment or maintenance during normal use; only surface cleaning, such as dust removal, is necessary. Do not apply lubricant to the transmission parts.
- When riding through water, the water level should not exceed the lower edge of the rear wheel motor bearing housing to prevent water from entering the motor and causing damage.
- Regularly check whether the motor connections are loose, the appearance is deformed, or the motor phase wires are damaged.
- The motor hub must not be subjected to severe impacts, and the motor should not be forced to run under stalled conditions. Overloading the motor is strictly prohibited.
- Do not ride on uneven surfaces, as this can severely damage the motor and the hub.
- The vehicle is adjusted to optimal performance before sale. During use, do not disassemble the electrical components or related parts. If abnormal noises from the transmission parts or electrical failures occur, contact after-sales support or an authorized service center.
- Controller The controller is adjusted to the optimal setting at the time of manufacture. If electrical faults or loss of control occur during riding, non-professional personnel should only inspect the cables and connectors. If the issue cannot be resolved, contact after-sales support or an authorized service center immediately.
Caution!
During maintenance, inspect all parts for abnormalities. If any issues are
found, contact after-sales support or an authorized service center.
Battery
- Before use, ensure that the battery model matches the original battery supplied with the vehicle. Do not use batteries of other brands or models.
- The individual user manual provided in the battery and charger packaging is part of the product. Please read and understand it carefully before use.
- Fully charge the battery before first use. If the battery level is low during riding, recharge it promptly to extend the battery’s lifespan.
- When the battery is depleted, to charge it, open the battery port cover, connect the charging plug, and charge as usual. It is recommended to use either external or built-in charging methods directly.
- Charge the battery when its level drops below 20%. Regular charging after use will help extend the battery’s lifespan. Failing to recharge the battery immediately after riding can significantly reduce its lifespan, and in severe cases, render the battery unusable.
- If the electric vehicle will not be used for an extended period, disconnect the battery plug and recharge the battery at least once a month to prolong its life. This will prevent battery depletion, which is not covered by the warranty. Users and dealers are strictly prohibited from modifying the battery configuration or other vehicle components.
- Regular maintenance checks at a professional Boliga service center are recommended.
Warning : Do not dispose of old batteries irresponsibly to avoid
environmental pollution. This product’s used batteries should be recycled by
the company, dealer, or a government-designated facility.
Keep the battery charging area away from children.
Charger
- Users must follow the instructions in the manual when charging and must use the original charger provided. Failure to do so may result in consequences that the user will be responsible for.
- Only charge batteries that match the charger’s specified type and voltage. Do not mix different battery types, and do not attempt to charge non-rechargeable or incompatible batteries.
- Do not carry the charger with the vehicle to avoid damage to the internal electronic components caused by bumps.
- The charger should be placed in a well-ventilated area while charging. Do not charge in enclosed spaces or under direct sunlight or high temperatures.
- Charge the vehicle in a well-ventilated area, away from fire sources, and protect it from rain and sunlight.
- If the indicator light behaves abnormally, or if you notice unusual odors or excessive heat from the charger casing during charging, stop charging immediately and have the charger inspected or replaced.
- After charging, disconnect the power supply before unplugging the battery.
- Keep your hands dry when plugging or unplugging the charger. Do not allow conductive objects to touch both ends of the battery box charging port or the connection cable charging port.
- When the green light turns on, disconnect the power supply promptly. Do not leave the charger connected to an AC power source without charging for an extended period.
- Do not disassemble or replace components inside the charger yourself. For any malfunctions, contact after-sales support or an authorized service center.
Warning: Ensure adequate ventilation during charging to avoid fire
hazards. Keep the charger away from explosive gases.
Charging should be done in a dry, well-ventilated environment, away from
moisture, and far from flammable and explosive materials. The recommended
ambient temperature for charging is 10-30°C.
