INTENDED USE

This product is intended for installation on a compatible toilet bowl with top-fixing holes

BEFORE FIRST USE

WARNING!

Keep any packaging materials away from children and pets. These materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.

CAUTION!

Be careful when opening the packaging so as not to damage the product. Avoid using knives or scissors.

  1. Take the product out of the packaging.
  2. Remove the packaging material and all plastic/protective films.
  3. Check whether the delivery is complete (see chapter SCOPE OF DELIVERY AND PRODUCT OVERVIEW).
  4. Check whether the product or the individual parts show any damage. If this is the case, do not use the product. Contact the customer service department.

INSTALLATION

NOTICE

  • The hinge brackets (4) contain balls and springs held in place by the grub screws. If the grub screws are removed, the balls and springs may fall out.
  1. Remove the existing toilet seat and fix parts.
  2. Clean the toilet bowl and installation area.
  3. Partially loosen the grub screws from the hinge brackets (4) of the new toilet seat with the hex key (10) (Fig. 1). Do not remove the grub screws
  4. Pull the hinge brackets (4) from the toilet seat (Fig. 2).
  5. Insert the spigots (9) into the fixing holes (Fig. 3).
  6. Place the rubber gaskets (7), rubber washers (8) and hinge brackets (4) on top of the fixing holes (Fig. 4). Place and align the brackets (6) on top of the hinge brackets (4).
  7. Insert the bolts (5) into the spigots (9) and tighten slightly (Fig. 5). Do not tighten them completely.
  8. Place the toilet seat into the hinge brackets (4). Fold the toilet lid (1) and toilet seat ring (2) down (Fig. 6).
  9. Adjust the toilet seat and mounting parts as necessary to fit the toilet bowl (Fig. 7).
  10. Remove the toilet seat. Tighten the bolts (5) completely to secure the mounting parts in place (Fig. 8).
  11. Fit the hinge covers (3) on top of the hinge brackets (4) (Fig. 9). Do not press the hinge covers (3) down completely.
  12. Refit the toilet seat through the hinge covers (3) (Fig. 10). Do not press the hinge covers (3) down completely.
  13. Tighten the grub screws of the hinge brackets (4) with the hex key (10) to secure the toilet seat in place (Fig. 11).
  14. Press the hinge covers (3) down completely.
  15. Check that the toilet seat is securely fastened by opening the toilet lid (1) to a maximum angle of 110° (Fig. 12).
  16. Release the toilet lid (1) after lowering it slightly (Fig. 13). If it lowers automatically, it is properly installed.

USE

Using the soft-close mechanism

CAUTION

RISK OF DAMAGE!

Improper handling may cause damage to the product. Do not force the toilet lid (1) to close to prevent damaging the soft-close mechanism.

  1. Open the toilet lid (1) to a maximum angle of 110° (Fig. 12).
  2. Release the toilet lid (1) after lowering it slightly (Fig. 13). The toilet lid (1) closes automatically.

CLEANING

Cleaning the toilet seat

CAUTION!

Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, brushes with metal or nylon bristles or sharp or metallic cleaning objects such as knives, hard spatulas and the like. These could damage the surfaces of the toilet seat.

  • To clean the product, apply a mild cleaner suitable for plastic. Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth to dry the product.
  • Remove the toilet seat to clean around the fixing holes at the rear of the toilet bowl.
  • Do not use bleach or cleaners containing bleach.

MAINTENANCE

Check parts and components regularly to make sure all bolts and screws are tightened.

DISPOSAL

Dispose of the product according to local regulations. Contact local waste management for proper disposal or recycling.

Packaging

Children must not play with plastic bags and packaging material, due to the risk of injury and suffocation. Store such material safely or dispose of it in an environmentally friendly way.
