INSTRUCTION FOR A PRODUCT SAFE INSTALLATION
- Before installing the appliance, read this manual completely and carefully and store the document for future needs.
- The appliance must be installed suspended, exclusively by means of the provided chain at the top; the electrical connection must be done using the power cord, with a plug with earth connection that must be grounded.
- Install the appliance at the ceiling only: avoid areas with flammable or thermally deformable material, as wood, polystyrene, etc.
- Do not install or use the appliance with a remote control, timer or accessories that could activate the operation when not supervised.
- Do not install or use the appliance with extension cords, power strips or adapters: the high current required could overheat the devices.
- Avoid placing close to the appliance any kind of material that may deform, overheat or catch fire during operation.
- Avoid installing the product in transit areas, where it can obstruct the opening of doors and windows and place it far from curtains, blankets, flags, carpets or other easily flammable materials.
- Also ensure the previous precautions to the power cord and plug.
- The product is intended for use with single-phase systems executed in accordance with current technical standards of conformity and in accordance with the criteria of the rule of art: in the absence of the above, the safety requirement is not considered satisfied.
- Although it is intended for outdoor use, the product must never come into contact with abundant flows of water or other liquids: make sure to install it ensuring adequate distance from tanks, pipes, taps, swimming pools, expansion and collection vessels, valves, drains, downspouts and the like.
- The product must not be installed in oxygen-poor, excessively humid or dusty environments, or in atmospheres with gas, solvents or chemical/polluting substances.
- The chain carabiner must be inserted in a closed loop hook, to avoid detachment due to excessive oscillation.
- This hook can be fixed using an expansion plug or walled directly on the surface; verify that it can withstand a traction four times the appliance weight.
- Check the distance from the floor to the lower part of the appliance is not less than 2.5 meters.
- Check the distance from the ceiling is not less than 30cm.
- Once the carabiner has been secured to the hook, insert some links in the chain to satisfy the two previous points.

USE
The activation and deactivation of the device takes place by successive pulling of the control cord placed under the center, until it clicks. A moderate traction is sufficient, not sudden and not beyond the click, which will be clearly audible and which will correspond to the change in the operating state.
It is advisable to avoid turning the appliance on and off repeatedly and consecutively: the switch or the heating element could be damaged.
It is also advisable not to stand for prolonged periods in direct correspondence with the heating beam produced by the appliance.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS
Melchioni Ready s.r.l., based in Milan (Italy), via Colletta 37, recognizes a
conventional guarantee on the product for a period of two years from the date
of the first purchase by the consumer. This guarantee does not affect the
validity of the legislation in force concerning consumer goods (Legislative
Decree 6 September 2005 n. 206 art. 128 and following), of which the consumer
remains the owner. This guarantee applies to the entire territory of the
European Union.
The components or parts that are found to be defective for ascertained
manufacturing causes will be repaired or replaced free of charge through the
dealer, during the above warranty period. Melchioni Ready S.r.l. reserves the
right to make a complete replacement of the device, if repairability is
impossible or excessively expensive, with another device of similar
characteristics (Legislative Decree 6 September 2005 n. 206 art. 130) during
the warranty period. In this case, the warranty period remains that of the
original purchase: the service provided under warranty does not extend the
warranty period.
In any case, this appliance will not be considered defective due to materials
or manufacturing should it be adapted, changed or adjusted, in order to comply
with national or local safety and / or technical standards, in force in a
country other than that for which it is was originally designed and
manufactured. This appliance has been designed and built for domestic use
only: any other use will invalidate the benefits of the guarantee.
The guarantee does not cover:

- home interventions for convenience checks or presumed defects
The recognition of the guarantee by Melchioni Ready S.r.l. is subject to the
presentation of a tax document that proves the actual date of purchase. The
same must not show any tampering or deletions, in the presence of which
Melchioni Ready S.r.l. reserves the right to refuse the provision of treatment
under warranty.
The warranty will not be recognized if the serial number or model of the
appliance is non-existent, abraded or modified.
This warranty does not include any right to compensation for direct or indirect damage, of any nature, to people or things, caused by any inefficiency of the appliance. Any extensions, promises or services in this regard, insured by the retailer, will be borne by the latter.
