IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PRODUCT INSTALLATION AND SAFE USE
To minimize the possible risks related to the installation and use of the product, carefully read and scrupulously comply with the following instructions:
- The product is designed for domestic use only. Compliance with the declared performance and the safety requirement in case of intensive use in a professional environment is not guaranteed.
- The product is not intended for use in industrial environments, large commercial areas, large public areas or communities, cellars, garages, pergolas, porches or other arrangements that may expose it to atmospheric agents.
- The product is intended for indoor use: if used outdoors, the safety requirement is not guaranteed and risk situations may occur for the user’s safety.
- The product should not be used by children unless they are instructed on how to use it and the information has been understood.
- The product must not be used by children even after it has been decommissioned, as it contains details that could be dangerous.
- The product should not be used by people with reduced motor or cognitive abilities unless they are adequately supervised.
- Do not use the device in the presence of liquids: ensure sufficient distance from containers, tanks, taps, pipes, dehumidifiers, expansion or storage vessels, downspouts, loading and discharge pipes, etc.
- The product must not be used if there are any deformities, even partial color changes, openings in the casing, cracks, excessive heating, smoke emissions, vapors, bad smells, or unusual noises; in this case, stop using it immediately and contact qualified technical personnel.
- Before proceeding with installation, make sure that the rated voltage indicated on the technical data plate on the appliance corresponds to the mains voltage.
- Before proceeding with the installation, make sure that the electric plug is disconnected from the mains. Never start the operation of the appliance in any way unless after assembly and installation.
- The appliance must not be installed near windows or openings which could expose it to the elements, nor near curtains, ornamental plants or other objects that could collide with moving parts.
- The product must be placed on a horizontal, flat, and stable surface.
- The device must not be placed within the opening range of doors and windows, rolling shutters, curtains, rockers, movable walls or the like.
- Do not move the product while it is in operation.
- Do not use the product if it has been dropped: carry out an integrity check by competent technical personnel.
- Do not place any objects in the swing area of the fan during operation: this behavior involves the risk of injury; in any case avoid stopping the oscillation of the fan during operation and constantly check that this circumstance cannot occur accidentally.
- Do not cover the fan in any way; do not use the grill to hang out damp fabrics, clothes or other objects and indeed periodically make sure that no object can obstruct the air circulation of the fan in any way.
- Do not introduce any object into the grill and make sure that this cannot happen during the entire period of operation: this, in addition to creating a risk of injury to the people around it, seriously compromises the reliability of the product, almost certainly causing breakdowns.
- Before proceeding with cleaning operations, make sure that the appliance has been off for at least 15 minutes and that the electrical plug has been disconnected.
- To clean the product, use a damp cloth and avoid any abrasive or aggressive detergent; wait for it to dry completely before putting it back into operation.
- Do not install or use the appliance in direct sunlight or in the range of action of other ventilation appliances, in environments that are excessively humid, saturated with gases, vapors or other suspended substances, near open flames, flammable, oxidizing or explosives.
- Do not use near burners, fireplaces, pellet stoves, gas cookers and the like, especially if extinguishing these flames would cause gas leaks.
- Do not use the product to extinguish flames
- Make sure to connect the appliance to a standardized system built according to state-of-the-art criteria, equipped with a differential switch and magneto-thermal switch.
- Do not connect the appliance to devices such as timers, remote controls or automatisms.
- Do not leave packaging materials unattended, especially plastic bags, as they could be dangerous for children or people with reduced physical or cognitive abilities.
- Do not disassemble the appliance, even after it has been decommissioned. At the end of its life cycle, it must be disposed of by current legal requirements detailed in the following chapter.
- Do not modify the appliance for any reason: no performance improvement will be obtained as a result of interventions on its parts. Any modification invalidates the legal guarantee and the safety requirement, with possible risks for the user.
- Do not remove or modify the safety devices with which the product is equipped.
- Do not disconnect the product from the mains by pulling it by the cable: grasp the plug firmly and pull it out with a quick and decisive movement.
- Never immerse any part of the appliance in water or other liquids: avoid spraying any substance near the appliance or directly on it, especially if it is running.
- Any slight smoke or burning smell upon initial start-up is normal and does not constitute an anomaly: this emission should stop after a few seconds of operation.
- Periodically check the state of conservation of the various parts of the appliance: if you notice breakages or anomalies, do not use it and contact qualified personnel; pay particular attention to the condition of the cable.
- If the appliance is not going to be used for a long time, it is advisable to disconnect it from the mains and not just stop it using the specific command.
- Before restarting the appliance following a stop, wait for the propeller to have finished rotating by inertia.
- During use, it is not advisable to stand in front of the appliance for a long time, especially if in the direction of the flow: this circumstance has an impact on the health and well-being of the user on a multi-system level; to mitigate the effects of the draft, it may help to start the rocking mechanism.
- Use the appliance for its intended purposes only, as indicated in this instruction manual

ASSEMBLY
- Insert the fixed stem into the hole in the center of the basement and press it down.
- Screw the stem fixing screw into the hole under the base as shown in the figure.
- Turn the base upside down and place it on the ground on a horizontal and stable surface.
- Turn the stem ring counterclockwise and pull the extractable stem completely out.
- Fix the extractable stem by turning the ring clockwise.
- Fully insert the motor unit (6 + 7 + 8 + 9 + 10) into the extractable stem as in the figure, matching the screw with the special recess provided in the extractable stem; it may be helpful to slightly unscrew the fixing of the stem (11), trying not to extract it completely so as not to let the internal nut come out. In this case, refit the nut and partially tighten the fixing.
- Rest the rear grid on the motor, orienting the handle upwards, tomatch the pins of the motor plate with the central holes at the top of the center of the grid.
- Screw the grid nut onto the motor thread by turning it clockwise until it is fully tightened.
- Insert the propeller on the motor shaft, taking care to match the cross pin of the shaft with the groove on the rear part of the propeller.
- Screw the propeller nut firmly onto the motor shaft by turning it counterclockwise.
- Rest the front grid on the perimeter of the rear one, taking care to match the screw+nut holes on the lower part of both grids.
- Close the perimeter fastenings of the grids so that they join the edges of both grids.
- Fix the screw and the nut on the lower part of the grids so that they further hold the edges together.

The ventilation mode:
In the absence of selecting a specific mode, the fan offers a constant flow of
air; however, this situation can be annoying or unnatural, therefore two
further modes are available, which can be selected with the MODE key:
- Mode NATURE (natural): The airflow is varied randomly every approximately 5 seconds, even by stopping and restarting it, up to the selected maximum speed; this makes the flow similar to natural ventilation outdoors.
- Mode SLEEP (sleep): The airflow is varied randomly every 10 seconds, even stopping and restarting it, up to the selected maximum speed; this makes the flow suitable for the ventilation of rooms dedicated to rest.
In the absence of the selection of a ventilation mode, if the SLEEP and NATURE LEDs were both off, the flow would be continuous and correspond to the selected speed.
Propeller swing
By fully pressing the relative control (8) the propeller swing function on the
horizontal plane starts: the fan head swings alternately along an arc of about
65°, to make the direction of the flow discontinuous so that it is less direct
and annoying. By pulling the control, the oscillation stops. It is strongly
recommended to stop the operation before acting on the control and wait for
the propeller to stop completely.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
The product does not require any maintenance. For cleaning, use a damp cloth, avoiding any aggressive or abrasive detergent. It is essential to disconnect it from the mains before cleaning. Do not use compressed air to clean the propeller and in any case never act to facilitate its rotation except with normal use of the appliance. Wait for it to dry completely before reconnecting the appliance to the mains.
PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS
If the appliance presents anomalous operating conditions, in addition to what is reported in the previous chapter 2, it is advisable to consult the following table in to find possible simple solutions.
Problem | Possible cause | Probable solution |
