Continuous Draining

  1. Before turning on the dehumidifier, connect the included water hose. The hose is equipped with a coupling that fits the dehumidifier’s water hose connection.

  2. Locate the nearest drain.
The dehumidifier’s pump can handle a height of up to 5 meters, which is convenient when water needs to be pumped out of a basement.

  3. Turn on the dehumidifier. The unit will now dehumidify until the tank is full, after which it will automatically pump out the water for 30 seconds.

Operating Instructions

Powering the unit on/off Press the ‘POWER’ button to turn on the unit. Press the ‘POWER’ button again to turn off the unit; it will shut down after one minute. The unit will then go into standby mode.
Timer Function Turning off the unit
When the unit is on, you can press the timer button to set when the unit should turn off.  Using the “UP” and “DOWN” buttons, the timer can be set between 1 and 24 hours. A dot (A) next to the time indicates if the timer is active. The timer is reset by setting the time to 00.

Humidity Setting Function Setting
The unit can be set to a humidity level between 20% and 90% (A). Press the ‘UP’ and ‘DOWN’ buttons to set the desired humidity level in the room. When the desired humidity level is reached, the unit will automatically stop dehumidifying. It will restart automatically if the room humidity exceeds the set value.
When the built-in tank is full, the water pump starts and operates for 30 seconds until the tank is emptied.
Automatic Dehumidification
When the humidity at the air intake is equal to or higher than the set humidity threshold +3%, and the compressor is not in a 3-minute delayed start protection period, the fan will start immediately, and the compressor will start 3 seconds later.
When the humidity at the air intake is equal to or lower than the set humidity threshold -3%, the compressor will stop immediately, and the fan will stop 1 minute later.
Water Pump Function Always make sure to press the ‘PURGE’ button before turning off the dehumidifier when you know that the unit will no longer be used and needs to be packed away. This function activates the water pump, which empties the water tank in the unit and prevents potential water damage.
IMPORTANT!
After completing the dehumidification, make sure to empty the unit’s water tank by pressing the ’PURGE’ button.
Defrosting The defrost indicator lights up when the unit begins to defrost. This typically happens because the ambient air temperature is low. In the defrost mode, the dehumidifier stops dehumidifying. The unit will automatically continue dehumidifying once it has finished defrosting.
Full Water Tank When the integrated water tank is full, the ‘FULL’ indicator lights up. Three seconds later, the water pump automatically starts running.
Temperature Display The temperature displayed is in Fahrenheit (°F)(A) by default. Switch to Celsius (°C) by holding down the ‘POWER’ button for five seconds while the unit is on.
Operating Time The unit displays the operating time in hours. The time cannot be reset.
Memory
If a power outage occurs, or the device turns off, it will automatically restart with the same settings as before.

Warning on Refrigerant R290

The machine is designed only for use with R290(propane) gas as the designated refrigerant.
Note: The refrigerant loop is sealed. Only a qualified technician should attempt to service.
The lack of smell does not indicate a lack of escaped gas. No open flames, cigarettes or other possible sources of ignition should be used in the vicinity of the machine. Component parts are designed for propane and non- incentive and non-sparking. Component parts shall only be replaced with identical repair parts.
Note: The machine may only be installed in a room with a minimum floor area of 4m2.
R290 is a flammable gas that is heavier than air. On this basis, if the gas leaks from the unit, the concentration will be the highest at ground level. However, the gas can be lifted (e.g. by draught, fan, etc) to higher levels. The R290(propane) used in this unit has no odour. Do not use the machine in a room with an open flame, other high-level heat sources (e.g. cigarettes, candles, etc.) or electrical discharges. Install the machine in a room which can be ventilated when necessary and where gas accumulation is not possible.
If R290(propane) is detected in the room, or a leak is suspected, do not allow unauthorized persons to search for the source of the leak. In such cases, evacuate all people from the room, open the windows, leave the room and notify your local fire department to advise them that a propane leak has occurred. Do not allow any person to return to the room until the commanding officer of the fire department or a certified service engineer decides that the risk has ceased to exist.
Thank you for choosing this product.
