Product Usage Instructions
Immediate Post-Treatment Care
You may apply makeup immediately following the treatment.
First 24 Hours Post-Treatment
Avoid excessive sweating or heat for the first 24 hours
following the treatment.
Slight redness or swelling may occur immediately after IPL,
which typically subsides within the first 24 hours. If persistent
swelling occurs, consider taking an antihistamine like Benadryl or
Allegra.
Healing Process
Gradual darkening of pigmentation is normal post-treatment. Do
not rub or scrub the treatment area as it is part of the healing
process. The pigmentation should start to slough off within three
to four days.
In extreme cases of blistering, burns, or bleeding, contact your
technician immediately.
Post-Treatment Care for Four Weeks
For four weeks following the treatment, adhere strictly to sun
protection measures and avoid direct sunlight.
Resuming Regular Skin Regimen
Once the treatment area is back to normal, resume your regular
skin care regimen.
Retreatment Guidelines
Retreatment of IPL or any other Aurora aesthetic service can be
done as early as 2-4 weeks, depending on the patient’s individual
needs.
