- ON/OFF button
- TARE button
- Kg/Lb/St button
- Display
OPERATING BUTTONS
- The scale can be switched on and off with the ON/OFF button. (Push the button once.)
- With the TARE button, you can use the tare function. “0.00” appears on the display 2 seconds after pressing the button. If you don’t need the weight difference to be shown, then by pressing the TARE button for 3 seconds the memory can be deleted. “M” will disappear from the display.
- Kg, Lb, St button is suitable to choose the required unit of measurement, the actual unit of measurement can be seen on the right side of the display.
USING THE SCALE
- These scales run on 2pcs of replaceable lithium batteries. Remove the protective film before use (Fig. 1).
- Before weighing a baby, snap the tray to the measuring surface so the tray would stand stable (Fig. 2).
- There is no need for installing the tray if you want to weight a child.
- By pressing the ON/OFF button once “0.00” appears on the display (Fig.3).
- Place the baby or stand the child on the scale.
MEMORY FUNCTION
After switching on the scale, an “M” is displayed which means that the last
measured weight is stored in the memory, so that the weight difference could
be displayed. If you don’t need the weight difference to be shown, then by
pressing the TARE button for 3 seconds the memory can be deleted. “M” will
disappear from the display. If you take out the batteries, then the memory
will also be deleted.
ABOUT TARING
If you use not only the tray and the added weight (blanket, pillow, etc.) is
lighter than 5 kg, after pressing the TARE button the screen displays “0.00”
and the maximal measurable weight will be 20 kg.
If the added weight is heavier than 5 kg, after pressing the TARE button the
screen displays “0.00” but the maximal measurable weight will be less than 20
kg (more precisely: 20 kg minus the added weight).
OTHER INFORMATION ON THE DISPLAY
If the “LO” warning is displayed after switching on (Fig. 4), or there is
nothing on the display, the battery is dead and has to be replaced. If the
sign “Err” appears on the display (Fig. 5.), it means that the scale is
overloaded, in this case, the weight must be reduced ( an overload can cause
sensor faults). If the message “OUT2” appears on the display (Fig. 6.), it
means sensor fault (after overloading or after a sudden, big dynamic load). In
this case, we have no warranty liability for the product.
