Features of BELL GLASS MINI
By adding CO2 that requires photosynthesis for aquatic plants into aquariums, long-term maintenance of aquatic plants inside an aquarium has become possible for the first time. Bell Glass Mini is modeled after an upside down bellflower blossom, and is a glass equipment for adding CO2 to the aquarium efficiently. The bubbles released by the L-shaped pipeinside the main body serve as a counter for measuring the amount of droplets added. A storage method is used, so that CO2 buildup inside the main body leads to gradual addition into the water. In this way, it avoids the over-addition of CO2 common to small aquariums.

Usage
- Place Bell Glass Mini inside the aquarium according to the examples in the 5. Cautions diagram.
- When placing the Bell Glass Mini inside the aquarium, or removing it, hold the suction cup while doing so. Additionally, when attaching or detaching the suction cup or silicone tube, be sure to hold the near part of the connective section while working. Holding a more distant part of the connective section can apply unnecessary force and lead to damage.
- Turn the fine adjustment screw on the CO2 regulator to slowly open it, and confirm the bubbles that come from the Bell Glass Mini’s L-shaped pipe slowly. The amount of CO2 added can be calculated from the number of bubbles leaving the L-shaped pipe and should be adjusted to a suitable amount for the aquarium. [Amount to add] 中文
- The suitable amount of CO2 will depend on the variety and amount of aquatic plants, as well as the state of photosynthesis. If this is a 150mm aquarium just after being set up, begin with a bubble every 3 seconds, and slowly increase it to match photosynthesis status and aquatic plant growth.
- If you can observe the release of bubbles from aquatic plant leaves due to photosynthesis, then the amount of CO2 added is approximately correct. For still more precise adjustment of added CO2, we recommend placing a Drop Checker (sold separately) in the aquarium to observe pH changes.
- If too much CO2 is added, shrimp may show sluggish movement in their legs, and fish can point their snouts upward. If this occurs, quickly change the water, perform aeration, or similar methods.
Maintenance
- If algae etc. become stuck on the glass surface or interior, use the dedicated glass tool-cleaning fluid Superge (sold separately) to clean it.
- Clean Bottle (sold separately) or other containers should be used to mix tapwater and Superge. Then, soak the Bell Glass Mini in it, with the suction cup and silicone tube detached. This will depend somewhat on the type of dirt, but30 minutes to a few hours should remove it.
- After the dirt comes off, rinse the Bell Glass Mini well with flowing tap water. The cleaning fluid is hazardous to organic life, so do not let any of it enter the aquarium.
- Any cleaning fluid attached to your hands and the like should be washed off with flowing tap water.
Cautions
- This product is for CO2. Be sure to use the silicone tube for connection. A pressure-resistant tube cannot be connected.
- While the aquarium’s lights are off, never add CO2. This may cause harm through oxygen deprivation for fish, and other life and microorganisms.
- To prevent water from flowing backward into the CO2 regulator or solenoid valve, be sure to attach the check valve (backflow prevention valve).
- If Otocinclus or other living creatures enter the Bell Glass Mini, remove them quickly
