USB RECEIVER

• The USB receiver can be found (and stored) in a slot on the bottom of the keyboard, on the opposite side of the battery bay door.
• Flip the keyboard over. You will see a small rectangular object embedded in a slot in the bottom of the keyboard, imprinted with the FCC ID number, this is the USB receiver unit. and it can be stored in this slot when not in use so that it doesn’t get lost or damaged. The keypad will not work without the USB Receiver.
• Remove it carefully by hooking a fingernail into the groove along the side surface, and lift it up slowly to free it, being very careful not to damage or lose it.

HOW TO USE

• Insert the USB receiver into one of your computer’s USB ports.

• Place 1 (One) AA 1.SV Alkaline Battery battery (not included) into the battery compartment on the back of the keyboard.

• Locate the power switch on the top/back of the keyboard and switch it ON.
  To preserve battery life and keyboard functionality, turn it OFF when not in use.

• Your computer should recognize the keyboard instantly. Be sure to check your computer’s settings if it is not detected.

• If the keyboard is unused for 2 seconds, it will enter sleep mode, press any key to resume.

• Remove the USB receiver from your computer’s USB port when the unit is not in use.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If device won’t connect, try the following:

• Be sure the USB receiver is connected to your computer.
• Be sure the USB receiver is not damaged.
• Check your computer’s input settings.
• Try new battery in the keyboard.
• Restart your computer.
