CNC MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
Regular and systematic maintenance is crucial for the longevity, performance,
and safety of your Automatic Sandblasting System. Adhering to the maintenance
schedule and following these procedures is essential for extending the life of
your machine and maintaining its operational accuracy.
Safety and Tools
1. Switch of the Power to the system 2. Turn OFF the Air and disconnected
from the Sand Master Pro (SM-Pro). 3. Release the pressured air from the Air
Chamber. 4. Always Use a Class 1 sealed Face Mask when exposed to dust during
Maintenance.
Weekly
1. Do a visual inspection of hoses to ensure none have developed or
developing a leak (hole) in the hose. 2. Inspect Head Casting for signs of
wear. 2. Ensure ALL fasteners are secure (tight) using the appropriate tool.
Operation vibration may cause
loosening. 3. Ensure the oxide level sensor is secure and pushed all the way
in, if it is loose use plumbers’ tape to
wrap around the sensor and push back in for a tight fit. 4. Empty Dust bin at
back of the SM-PRO weekly or as needed 5. Empty the black dust tube daily or
minimum weekly. 6. Wipe down the CNC table and remove any dust from the CNC
Power Box at the back of the machine. 7. Use an air blower to blow dust out of
the rails to keep you bearing dust free.
Monthly
1. Lubricate (Silicone Spray) the Z Axis a. Apply silicone spray to all
guides (the exact silicone is provided with the machine) b. Locate the hole on
the Head mounting behind the head assembly, place the straw through both holes
and spray twice. This will allow the head to travel up/down smoothly.
2. Inspect the Nozzle for wear and tear. When the nozzle orifice becomes
enlarged the power ration is upset and loss of torque will occur. Keep a new
Nozzle on hand to change any worn nozzle to ensure best efficiency of your
machine.
3. Inspect the Short Nozzle Behind the blasting nozzle and replace when it
shows wear and tear. 4. Inspect the nozzle and surface brush to ensure in good
order. Replace as needed.
Yearly
1. Replace the blasting Nozzle. A worn nozzle creates an abrasive/air
imbalance, causes excess dust and increases the time for blasting.
2. Replace the air filter in the SM-Pro annually. A clogged air filter will
make your system inefficient and create excess dust.
