Use & Care Manual
OVERVIEW
Our clay blend and proprietary glaze come together to create the most durable kitchen sinks on the market. DeerValley kitchen sinks are guaranteed not to stain, chip, scratch or rust through regular use. But as with any sink, they require regular cleaning with warm, soapy water.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
✓ Rub lightly with a soft cloth on a regular basis and clean periodically by
thoroughly rinsing with mild soap and warm water for additional preventative
cleaning.
✓ Check regularly for cracks. To check for cracks, you can fill a basin with
water and pour in colored paint to soak overnight. If there is a change in the
water level, there may be cracks.
✓ If your sink develops any type of discoloration, using a mild abrasive, such
as baking soda, will have your kitchen sink looking brand new again.
✓ Remove and clean the drains regularly to prevent stubborn stains.

abrasive cleaners or chemicals.
X Avoid steel wool or metal cleaning pads on the sink.
X Avoid leaving household cleaners or bleach in the sink for a long time, as
they may ruin the finish of your sink.
X Avoid dropping heavy or sharp objects from a height into the basin.
X Avoid large friction with other ceramic surfaces during use, as it will
abrade the glaze and cause breakage in appearance, affecting the overall
decoration.
X Avoid excessive temperature differences that may cause sink to break.
