Changing the Unit
Press the “UNIT” button on the back of the scale to select desired unit in weighing mode.
Operating Instructions
Before First Use

Before first use, pull the plastic strip out of the battery compartment on the back of the scale. If needed, check that the batteries are the correct position and +/- terminals are positioned correctly.

Wait until 0.0kg is shown on the screen.

Press UNIT to select the desired unit.
Note: After selecting the unit, place the scale on flat hard floor, then you can start to stand on the platform to measure according to the measuring procedure below. If there is nothing placed on the scale whilst on in weighing mode, the scale will turn off automatically after about 10s.
Measuring

Place the scale on flat hard ground.

Stand on the platform to switch on the scale.

Step off of the scale and wait for 0.0 to show on the display.

Step back on the scale and stand still. The weight data will blink first, then lock in place when stable. The scale will turn off automatically after about 10 seconds.
Note: If you want to measure once again, step off of the scale, then step on the platform again.
Error Messages
- Low battery indication. When “Lo” is shown, it means the battery is low. The scale will turn off after a few seconds. You will then need to replace the batteries.
- Overload indication. When “Err” is shown, remove the weight from the scale to protect the sensors.
Safety Instructions
- Ensure the scale is on a flat, even and firm ground surface. Avoid carpet or soft surfaces.
- The surface of the scale will be slippery if wet. Please make sure both the glass and your feet are dry before use.
- This scale is not waterproof. Do not expose it to moisture.
- Clean the scale with a slightly damp cloth, then wipe again with a dry cloth. Do not use any chemical/abrasive cleaning agents to clean the scale.
- If the scale is not being used for a long period of time, remove the batteries before storing away.
