HOW TO USE
-
Check for consciousness and breathing.

Make an emergency call.

Expose the upper body.

Place the LifePad.
-
Pull out the battery strip.

Place your hands on the patient.
-
Beep = push.
-
Perform the compressions
LEDs indicate when sufficient pressure is applied (all LEDs light up one after the other from orange to green). -
Release the chest again
The LED feedback system helps here.
If you are trained to do so, you can give 2 rescue breaths after 30 compressions. -
Repeat steps 8 and 9 in rhythm with the acoustic signal to ensure a frequency of 100 compressions/min.
The device does not have an ECG function. Perform cardiac massage until there are clear signs of life again or until the emergency doctor takes over.
