The unique reliability of the Bluebird Model 24S Clay Mixer has been heralded by professional potters and schools for years. The 24S combines efficiency with durability and ease of cleaning: the hallmarks of the Bluebird mixers.
However, we’ve made improvements in response to the potter’s changing needs:
- Heavy-duty stainless steel construction to eliminate possible contamination of porcelain bodies
- Extra seal between bearing and mixer bucket to protect bearing from moisture and clay
- Full coverage lid to significantly reduce clay dust while mixing
- Safety switch that stops blade action when lid is raised to protect against personal injury
- Casters for easier mobility and 3 -position bucket for easier unloading
- Blade system designed for rapid mixing of multiple batches

Prepare your own clay with the Bluebird! Series 24S Clay Mixer
- Have all materials accurately weighed out for several batches ahead of time.
- Mix critical ingredients with µremeasured water.
- Put water in mixer
- Add remaining materials in order of plasticity.
- Keep mixing time as brief as possible Don’t clean out mixer between batches.
- Age as long as possible. Pugging before aging is not necessary.
