Installation:
Tools Needed for Installation:
- T25, T30, T40 Torx Driver
- 10mm Wrench
Panels and Dash Disassembly:
-
Open the dash compartment lid and remove the 2 panel
clips. -
Remove 4 panel clips and 2 Phillips screws.
-
Lift the dash panel and unplug the drive selector and gear
selector switch connectors. -
Remove the dash compartment cover by unhooking the hinges.
Switch Works Brain Module Installation and Wiring:
-
Mount the brain module brackets in the dash cavity using (2)
M8, (2) M6 thread cutting screws and M6 hex head bolt. -
Mount the ALPHA12 brain module to the bracket using (4)
M5x0.8×10 screws and washers. -
Run the power and ground wires from the ALPHA12 kit to the
battery location. -
Connect the accessories to the High and Low current harnesses
and plug the harnesses to the brain module.
Switch Works LCD Touch Controller Installation:
-
Insert the LCD Touch Button Controller cable through the KRX
upper dash controller mount center hole. -
Use the 4-40 fine thread cutting screws (x4) to secure it on
the dash panel.

TOOLS NEEDED FOR INSTALLATION
– T25, T30, T40 Torx Driver – 10mm wrench
PANELS AND DASH DISASSEMBLY

A. Open the dash compartment lid and remove the 2 panel clips.
B. Remove 4 panel clips and 2 Phillips screws.

C. Lift the dash panel and unplug the drive selector and gear selector switch
connectors.

D. Remove the dash compartment cover by unhooking the hinges.

SWITCH Works Brain Module Installation and Wiring
TOOLS NEEDED FOR INSTALLATION
– Torx Screw Driver
– 10mm wrench
INSTALLATION
A
A. Mount the brain module brackets in the dash cavity using (2) M8, (2) M6
thread cutting screws and M6 hex head bolt.
B
B. Mount the ALPHA12 brain module to the bracket using (4) M5x0.8×10 screws
and washers.
C
C. Run the power and ground wires from the ALPHA12 kit to the battery
location. The battery is located under the driver seat on 2 door models and
under the rear driver seat in 4 door models.
D
D. Connect the accessories to the High and Low current harnesses and plug the
harnesses to the brain module. NOTE that the 15 button controller MUST be
plugged in to the module before connecting the power and ground cables to the
battery. Snap on the terminal cover to the module’s + terminal.

TOOLS NEEDED FOR INSTALLATION
– Phillips Screw Driver
– Box Cutter
INSTALLATION
A
A. Insert the LCD Touch Button Controller cable thru the KRX upper dash
controller mount center hole and use the 4-40 fine thread cutting screws (x4)
to secure it on the dash panel.
B
B. Remove the rubber snap grommet to fish though the 15-button controller
cable.
C
C. Line up the dash panel in place and drill holes on the front dash using the
drill guide as a template.

D. Drill holes on the top dash using the drill guide as a template.

INSTALLATION

E. Use the provided push-in style snap rivets to secure the upper dash controller mount panel to the dashboard.

F. Use the provided snap covers to cover the hinge opening. Note that the snap
covers have a left and right side.

G. Refer to the SW-E12 instructions manual for detailed wiring and programming
procedures.
