BEFORE ASSEMBLY
- Remove all parts and hardware from the box. Place all items on a carpeted or scratch-free work surface to avoided damaging parts during assembly.
- The shipping box can provide an ideal work surface if none is available.
- Use the components and hardware lists below to inventory and separate each of the components included.
- To avoid accidentally discarding small components or hardware, do not dispose of any packaging until the assembly is complete.
- DO NOT USE power tools. Power tools can damage the fasteners and components.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
- Use a soft, clean cloth that will not scratch the surface when cleaning.
- Do not wash or bleach, do not use any cleaners that may damage the paint.
- Colors and details may vary from the images shown on the packaging.
- Store in a cool dry place to avoid deformation over time.

Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate or install the product.
PREPARATION
Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not assemble the product – contact customer service first.

HARDWARE CONTENTS (shown actual size)
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Begin with the largest Tentacle Base [A] and the matching Tentacle End
[B].
Connect the male plug from the Tentacle End [B] to the female plug in Tentacle
Base [A].
Screw the threaded collar of the male side to the female end to secure the
connector.
2. Insert the Tentacle End [B] into Tentacle Base [A] at the assembly collar.
Align the geometry of the assembly features so that the Tentacle End [B] can
be fully inserted.
Do not pinch the wire between the two parts.
Allow extra wire to fall into Tentacle Base [A] during assembly.
3. Once inserted, rotate Tentacle End [B] clockwise to lock it into place. Once locked, the outer form should align so that the sculpted details match between the two parts, like the image shown in the bottom right corner of the diagram.
4. Repeat step one with Tentacle Base [C] and the matching Tentacle End [D].
Connect the male plug from the Tentacle End [D] to the female plug in Tentacle
Base [C].
Screw the threaded collar of the male side to the female end to secure the
connector.
5. Repeat Step 2 for Tentacle Base [C] and Tentacle End [D]. Insert the
Tentacle End [D] into Tentacle Base [C] at the assembly collar.
Align the geometry of the assembly features so that the Tentacle End [D] can
be fully inserted..
Do not pinch the wire between the two parts.
Allow extra wire to fall into Tentacle Base [C] during assembly.
6. Repeat Step 3 with Tentacle Base [C] and Tentacle End [D]. RotateTentacle End [D] clockwise until secure to lock it into place. Once locked, the outer form should align so that the sculpted details match between the two parts, as shown in the image in the bottom right corner of the diagram.
7. Assemble Head Base Plate [H] into the Kraken Head [E] using the included screws [AA]. Flip the head upside down, placing it on a soft surface that will not scratch the paint. Align the holes on the base of the Kraken Head [E] with the threaded holes of the frame, as shown in the diagram. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to assemble the four screws into place, securing Head Base Plate [H] to Kraken Head [E].
8. Place Tentacle Base Plate [I] into the Tentacle Base [A], aligning the screw holes as shown in the diagram. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to assemble the three screws into place, securing Tentacle Base Plate [I] to Tentacle Base [A].
9. Place Tentacle Base Plate [J] into Tentacle Base [C], aligning the screw holes. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to assemble the three screws into place, to secure the bracket.
10. Attach the female ends of the wiring harness [N] to the male wires at the
bottom of each Kraken part as shown in the diagram below.
Fasten the threaded collar to secure each connection.
Connect the two-pronged connector from the controle module to power adapter.
You may power the product at this stage to make sure each of the components
light up.
11. Ground Staking (OPTIONAL). Recommended
if displaying outdoors in the yard.
Space Mounting Stake [K] 24” – 36” apart. Use a hammer or mallet to drive
Mounting Stake [K] into the ground where Kraken parts will be placed.

12. Place the center holes on the bases of each of the Kraken parts onto the corresponding stakes.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Plug the Power Adapter [L] into a standard power outlet. Use the
Controller [M] to turn Kraken on and off.
2. Press the power button to toggle through the three modes.

3. If using the timer function, you must set the product to timer mode at the
time you wish to have the product turn on.
4. If the product is unplugged, the timer will be reset and will need to be
set again at the desired hour.

This item is not a toy and should be used for decoration only. This item contains small parts that can be a choking hazard. Keep all plastic parts and hardware away from children. For indoor and outdoor use.
- Usage near children should be supervised by adults. Keep away from open flame.
- Do not climb, push, pull, or tilt the product.
- Do not modify the product.
- Assemble and display the product on flat, level surfaces.
