Video recording
I. How to record an emergency video? Automatic collision recording: When a
vehicle collides, the recorder will automatically record emergency video.
II. What is parking mode and time-lapse recording? 1. Both parking mode and
time-lapse recording need to be used with a hardwire kit, which can be turned
on/off in the APP settings. 2. Parking mode: It means that if a collision
occurs when the vehicle is turned off, the device can record in real time and
save it to the memory card. 3. Time-lapse recording: It means that when the
vehicle is turned off, it continues to record at a sampling frequency of one
frame per second, and then the synthesized video is saved to the memory card.
III. How is the video saved? All videos are stored using a cycle erase storage
mode. When the storage space reaches the upper limit, every time a new video
is recorded, the oldest video in the memory card will be automatically erased.
To prevent important videos from being erased, please promptly export
important videos to other devices such as mobile phones or computers for
backup.
6
Memory card use
1. The device only supports standard Micro SD memory cards. Please use a
Micro SD memory card with a capacity between 16GB-128GB and a rated speed of
Class 10 or above.
2. When inserting a Micro SD memory card for the first time, please format it
in the device before using it. Formatting a Micro SD memory card will delete
all files on the card. Please back up important data to other devices
beforehand.
3. Please use a reputable, high-quality Micro SD memory card. 4. Do not
insert or remove the Micro SD memory card when the
driving recorder is turned on, otherwise it may cause damage to the saved
video and the Micro SD memory card.
