NAD C 700 V2 BLUOS STREAMING AMPLIFIER

The C 700 V2 BluOS Streaming Amplifier is a compact, high-value all-in-one sound system that builds upon the success of its predecessor with an upgraded DAC, enhanced connectivity, expanded output capabilities, more control options, and even more advanced processing.

At its heart, the personality of this just-add-speakers powerhouse remains unchanged. Inside the solid aluminum case is a dynamic HybridDigital UcD amplifier and BluOS- enabled network streamer. Using the intuitive BluOS app on your smartphone, tablet, PC, or Mac, you can access music from your personal digital library or stream from online services such as Spotify, Amazon Music Ultra HD, Tidal, Qobuz and many more. The C 700 V2 can operate on its own or as part of a whole-home BluOS music ecosystem. But that’s just scratching the surface.

The C 700 V2 takes its “all-in-one” ethos to new heights, thanks to the addition of a phono stage (MM) and the ability to expand the C 700 V2’s output beyond 2- or 2.1-channel stereo. Thanks to the power of the BluOS platform, it’s easy to add a pair of wireless BluOS-Enabled players, in addition to a wired subwoofer, for a full 4.1-channel home cinema experience, complete with Dolby Digital processing.

The C 700 V2 is Dirac Ready to support the optional Dirac Live room correction. Simply purchase and activate a Dirac Live license and use a calibrated microphone (sold separately) to measure the response of your room, and you’ll now be able to enjoy music and movies from the C 700 V2 as intended, with perfectly tuned bass and enhanced clarity. The C 700 V2 can store up to five Dirac profiles for different sources or seating arrangements and room conditions, any of which can be recalled with the touch of a button on the included BC1 IR remote control.

Following menus on the C 700 V2’s colour display, you can adjust amplifier settings with the control knob and navigation buttons on the front panel. And the C 700 V2 can learn commands from your favourite remote control.

Its sleek front panel houses a 5” glass high-definition colour screen that displays album art, track progress, and system settings. Following the menus on the C 700 V2’s display, you can easily adjust the unit’s configuration or navigate your favourite music with the included remote control or the front-panel control knob and navigation buttons.

With built-in Ethernet and Wi-Fi, and the award-winning BluOS software platform, the C 700 V2 has everything you need to play music through your favourite speakers. You can use the BluOS Controller app to select tunes from internet radio and over 20 different streaming services, or play music stored on an external drive connected to the C 700 V2’s USB port.

Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect are included so you can control playback from the apps for those services; AirPlay 2 allows you to stream music from Apple devices and iTunes libraries. You can search for music that fits your mood using nothing but the power of your voice, thanks to support for Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri.

Like all BluOS-enabled components, the C 700 V2 has full MQA decoding and rendering capabilities. Its upgraded ESS Sabre ES9028 DAC will redefine your listening experience with unparalleled precision and breathtaking clarity. CONTROL AND CONNECT

The C 700 V2 has a Moving Magnet phono stage in addition to a stereo RCA analogue audio input, as well as coaxial and optical digital inputs, for connecting disc players, game consoles, media adapters, and other components. There’s also an HDMI eARC port for connecting compatible TVs. In addition to the loudspeaker outputs, the C 700 V2 has a subwoofer output jack. Using the BluOS Controller app you can set the crossover point for a seamless blend between the subwoofer and main speakers.

The C 700 V2 features two-way aptX HD Bluetooth, so you can listen to music through wireless headphones, and stream audio from any smart device. NAD offers software tools that allow the C 700 V2 to be integrated into smart home control systems from Control4, Crestron, Elan, RTI, andothers. This allows you to integrate your music playback with the other smart functionality of your connected home, including lighting, shades, HVAC, and security. The C 700 V2 is also certified Roon Ready, so you can stream music from a Roon Core server.
