PEOPLE NEEDED FOR ASSEMBLY: 2

  • Open your item in the area you plan to keep it to avoid excessive heavy lifting.

  • Identify, sort and count the parts before attempting assembly.

  • Make sure to always face the point between (+) & (-) on the top of the Cam Lock towards the outer edge.

  • Back panel must be used to make sure your unit is sturdy.

  • Do NOT use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners on this item.

  • Never push, pull, or drag your furniture.

Before You Start

  • Read through each step carefully and follow the proper order
  • Separate and count all your parts and hardware
  • Give yourself enough room for the assembly process
  • Have the following tools: #2 Phillips Head Screwdriver and Hammer
  • Caution: If using a power drill or power screwdriver for screwing, please be aware to slow down and stop when screw is tight. Failure to do so may result in stripping the screw.

Cam Lock Fastening System

This Cam Lock Fastening System will be used throughout the assembly process.

Before You Start Please
Note: You may need to lightly tap the wood dowels with a hammer into the holes during your assembly process.

Wood Dowel Insertion:
Insert wood dowel completely into the hole.

STEP 1

  • Attach 15 Cam Bolts (1) to Base (D) as illustrated. Do NOT over-tighten.

STEP 2

  • Attach 12 Cam Bolts (1) to Top Panel (A) as illustrated. Do NOT over-tighten.
  • Insert two Wood Dowels (3) into Top Panel (A) as illustrated.

STEP 3

Dowels extend out 3/8″. For  more details, please see page 4

Use one drop of glue in dowel hole.

  • Insert Wood Dowel (3) into Support (K) x 2 as illustrated.
  • Insert four Wood Dowels (3) into Back Panel (B) as illustrated.
  • Insert two Wood Dowels (3) into Lower Front Panel (J) as illustrated.

STEP 4

Dowels extend out 3/8″. For more details, please see page 4

  • Attach four Cam Bolts (1) to Left and Right Side Panel (E) & (F) as illustrated. Do NOT over-tighten.
  • Insert 12 Wood Dowels (3) into Left and Right Side Panel (E) & (F) as illustrated.

Use one drop of glue in dowel hole.

STEP 5

Dowels extend out 3/8″. For  more details, please see page 4

  • Insert four Wood Dowels (3) into Partition Panel (C) x 2 as illustrated.

STEP 6

Dowels extend out 3/8″. For more details, please see page 4

  • Attach six Cam Bolts (1) to Upper Front Panel (I) as illustrated. Do NOT over-tighten.
  • Insert four Wood Dowels (3) into Upper Front Panel (I) as illustrated.

STEP 7

  • Attach ten Cam Bolts (1) to Left and Right Front Panel (H) & (G) as illustrated.Do NOT over-tighten.

STEP 8

Use one drop of glue in dowel hole.

  • Attach Lower Front Panel (J) to Base (D) using three Cam Locks (2) as illustrated

STEP 9

Use one drop of glue in dowel hole.

  • Attach Two Supports (K) to Base (D) using four Cam Locks (2) as illustrated.

STEP 10

  • Attach Partition Panel (C) to Base (D) using four Cam Locks (2) as illustrated.

Use one drop of glue in dowel hole.

STEP 11

  • Attach Left and Right Side Panel (F) & (E) to Back Panel (B) using four Cam Locks (2) as illustrated.

Use one drop of glue in dowel hole.

STEP 12

  • Attach Left and Right Side Panel (F) & (E) to Base (D) using four Cam Locks (2) as illustrated.

Use one drop of glue in dowel hole.

STEP 13

  • Attach Top Panel (A) to boards (B), (C), (E) and (F) using 12 Cam Locks (2) as illustrated.

STEP 14

  • Attach Left and Right Front Panel (H) & (G) to Upper Front Panel (I) using eight Cam Locks (2) and four Double End Cam Connectors (7) as illustrated.

STEP 15

  • Attach Metal Plate (6) to Left Front Panel (H) and Upper Front Panel (I) using two Screws (4) as illustrated.
  • Attach Metal Plate (6) to Right Front Panel (G) and Upper Front Panel (I) using two Screws (4) as illustrated.

STEP 16

  • Attach Left, Right Front Panel (H) & (G) and Upper Front Panel (I) to the unit using 16 Cam Locks (2) as illustrated.

STEP 17

  • Attach Metal Plate (6) to Left Front Panel (H) and Lower Front Panel (J) using two Screws (4) as illustrated.
  • Attach Metal Plate (6) to Right Front Panel (G) and Lower Front Panel (J) using two Screws (4) as illustrated.

STEP 18

  • Carefully insert the Fireplace into the back of the unit and slide to the front of the unit.
  • Attach Fireplace to Left and Right Front Panel (H) & (G) using 6 Screws (5) as illustrated.

STEP 19

  • Attach two Metal Brackets (9) to Support (K) using two Screws (5) as illustrated.

STEP 20
BEFORE CONNECTING THE UNIT TO A WALL ELECTRIC OUTLET

Please carefully read and follow instructions and safety warnings in “Fireplace Homeowners Operating Manual” to operate your fireplace.

IF THE INFORMATION IN THE FIREPALCE OPERATING MANUAL IS NOT FOLLOWED, AN ELECTRIC SHOCK OR FIRE MAY RESULT IN PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY l OR LOSS OF LIFE .

To allow proper heater ventilation, this unit must be located a minimum of 1-1/2″ away from a back wall.

STEP 21

IMPORTANT: THIS UNIT MUST BE SECURE TO THE WALL TO HELP PREVENT TIPOVER. FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS TO INSTALL THE TIPPING RESTRAINT KIT PROVIDED WITH THIS PRODUCT:

Attachment into a wall stud (preferred method)
Using a stud finder, locate a stud in the wall and and mark the wall through the Clip (12). Use Screw (11) to attach the Clip (12) to the wallboard. Use Screw (10) to attach the Clip (12) to Back Panel (B). Move the furniture to its final position.
Thread the strap (13) through the Clip (12) as shown in the illustration, tighten strap until snug. Do NOT over tighten.

For Masonry, Concrete, or other wall materials:
Consult your local hardware store for appropriate anchors to securely attach the safety bracket

This unit has been designed to support the maximum loads shown. Exceeding these load limits could cause sagging, instability, product collapse, and/or serious injury.

Warning: Risk of injury to persons – do not place a television on this furniture. This furniture is not approved for use with a television.
