LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

Baja Designs proudly offers a LIFETIME WARRANTY against the manufacturer’s defect on all the products that we manufacture.
These are comprehensive warranties; other than the exclusions below – you’re covered. If your LEDor HID bulb burns out, you’re covered. Additionally, cutting off our connector or changing your lenses does not automatically void your warranty.
Exclusions: Installation errors, abuse, misuse, or crash damage. You must be the original owner of the product and can supply proof of purchase. Baja Designs manufactures its own products as well as resells products manufactured by others. Baja Designs makes no express or implied warranties on products not manufactured by Baja Designs including without limitation any warranties or merchantability and fitness for a purpose. We will, however, pass on all warranties made by the manufacturer, who has sole responsibility for performing such warranties. Baja Designs will pay the freight if your product is less than 90 days old, otherwise defective products must be returned to Baja Designs, Inc., freight prepaid. At our option, we will repair or replace the items in question and return them at no charge. If the identical product is no longer available, we will replace it with a similar product of equal value. Baja Designs Inc. will not be responsible for any indirect or consequential damages in connection with defective merchandise. Items purchased through a Baja Designs authorized dealer must be returned through the dealer. Only available on LED auxiliary lights and the product must be in sellable condition at MSRP. The product that has been damaged in any way after the original purchase date will be excluded from this guarantee.

Tools Required

– 7/16” wrench and socket
– Phillip’s head screwdriver
– 3mm and 4mm Allen Wrenches

Re-torque all the fasteners after 100 miles. our installation is now complete! Thank you for choosingBaja Designs.

To begin, assemble the S1 light with the included standard bracket and hardware. The exploded view is on the right. Use the 7/16” wrench, 7/16” socket, and 3mm Allen wrench.
Determine where the light can be mounted to the handlebars without interference from the controls. Turn the bars back and forth and compress and decompress the forks to make sure the light will not interfere with anything like the front brake cable.
Locate the Included handlebar mount assembly. With the 4mm Allen wrench, remove the bolt holding the light mount onto the handlebar clamp.
There is a small set screw that can be removed if the three locations shown are not usable for your desired adjustment.
Mount the S1 to the light mount using the supplied hardware and 7/16” wrench and socket. The light can mount to either side of the light mount depending on how much pan adjustment is needed. Mount the light onto the handlebar and tighten it.
Mount the light and route the power cord behind the number plate.
Remove the seat and the gas tank (models vary). Unravel the provided S1 Pit bike Moto Kit wiring harness and locate the light plug lead.
Connect the harness light plug (e) to the light power cord and route the handlebar switch (d) to a suitable location on the handlebars. Use Phillip’s head screwdriver to mount the switch. Route the battery leads (a,b) back to the battery along the frame along the existing OEM wiring harness.
With the 8mm socket wrench (Applications vary), remove the red (+) battery terminal bolt and place the S1 Moto wiring harness red (+) ring terminal over and tighten the fastener. Then, remove the black (+) battery terminal bolt and place the S1 Moto wiring harness black (-) ring terminal over and tighten the fastener.
Tie all wires away from sharp, hot, and/or rotating components. Replace the seat, tank, and any other parts removed to route the harness.
