Congratulations!
Before using your Yonanas for the first time please follow these instructions:

1. Remove all packing materials and literature.
2. Wash the to-go lid, blending cup, and blade assembly with dishwashing liquid, water and a soft cloth. The blending cup and to-go lid are dishwasher safe. Wipe unit clean with a damp cloth. NEVER immerse unit in water or any other liquid.
3. Read and understand the User Manual before commencing any operations.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

WARNING! When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

1. Read this instruction manual before using it!
2. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. Do not allow children to use this appliance.
3. Do not operate any appliance with damaged cord or plug, or after appliance has been dropped or damaged in any way.
4. To protect against the risk of electrical shock, do not put cord, plug, base, or motor in water or other liquid.
5. Always unplug from outlet when not in use, before removing food and before cleaning.
6. Avoid contact with moving parts.
7. Do not use outdoors.
8. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.
9. Blades are sharp. Please handle them with care.
10. Keep hands and utensils out of container while blending to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the blender. A scraper may be used but must be used only when the blender is not running.
11. Do not let cord contact hot surfaces including the stove.
12. To reduce the risk of injury always assure blade and container assembly is placed properly on base unit.
13. Always make sure the appliance is properly and completely assembled before operating.
14. The use of accessory attachments is not recommended by the appliance manufacturer and may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
15. Don’t blend hot liquids.
16. This appliance is only suitable for food cut into small pieces, do not put a whole or large piece of food into the container for blending.

SAFETY OF OTHERS

• The unit is not to be used by children or persons with reduced physical, mental or sensory capabilities.
• The unit is not to be used by people with a lack of experience or knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction.
• Do not let children use Yonanas blender without adult supervision.
• Always store the blade out of reachof children.

POLARIZATION INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance has a polarized plug (one prong is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will correctly fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
Do not modify the plug in any way.

POWER PULSE BUTTONS

When the blender is powered on, gently press the desired power pulse button (low speed or high speed) with your finger. The blender will start to work. When you release the button, the blender will stop.

ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION

STEPS

1. Fill the blending cup with fruit and liquid making sure not to overfill past the max line.
   Do not fill with more than 160g of fruit and 240g of liquid.

2. Place the blade assembly onto the blending cup and twist it on tightly until you have a good seal. Make sure it is tightly screwed in place to avoid leakage.

3. Invert the blending cup/blade assembly and place it securely onto the motor base.

4. Plug the blender into a nearby AC power outlet.
   Press either low speed or high speed power pulse buttons to operate.

5. When you have reached your desired consistency, unplug the blender from its power source. Remove the blending cup/blade assembly from the base.

6. Invert the blending cup/blade assembly and turn the blade counterclockwise and pull straight up to remove from blending cup. Replace the blade with the to-go lid for carrying and drinking.

PRECAUTIONS

1. Do not put the whole or parts of body into water or use it in should it become wet.
2. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified person to avoid a hazard.
3. Always ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet before relocating, assembling, disassembling, or cleaning it.
4. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
5. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

WARNING : DO NOT SUBMERGE THE BASE, POWER CABLE WITH MAIN PLUG IN WATER OR ANY LIQUID.

1. It is suggested that the appliances should be cleaned immediately after use.

2. Unplug the appliance before cleaning.

3. Dissemble all the parts. Wash the to-go lid, blending cup, and blade assembly with dishwashing liquid, water and a soft cloth. The blending cup and to-go lid are dishwasher
   safe. Blade assembly is to be hand washed.

4. Clean the motor unit with a wet cloth.

5. Do not use bleach or metal cleaner to clean the parts. Only neutral detergents and wet cloth can be used for cleaning. After cleaning, dry parts dry with a soft cloth or air dry.

6. Be sure the unit is unplugged for storage. Never store while plugged in. Never wrap cord tightly around the appliance or stress on the cord as it could cause the cord to fray and break.

AFTER USE

To clean your Yonanas blender, turn off unplug the cord. Follow the maintenance and cleaning instructions on page 7. Make sure the parts are completely dried before reassembly. Store your Yonanas blender out of the reach of children.

WARRANTY

The Legacy Companies, maker of Yonanas Personal Blender, issues a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty says this product will be free from manufacturer’s defects in material and workmanship. The Legacy Companies, at its sole discretion, will repair or replace this product or any component of the product found to be defective during the warranty period. Replacement will be made with a new or refurbished product or component.
If the Yonanas Personal Blender is misused, dropped, or damaged at fault of user, the warranty can be declared void.

Any replacement of the electrical cord should only be made by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified person. This warranty does not cover any defect caused by an accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation or operation, lack of reasonable care, unauthorized modification, loss of parts, tampering or attempted repair by a person not authorized by the distributor.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Motor not working or stops working

• Plug not properly plugged in or no power in the outlet.
• Blending cup/blade assembly is not installed correctly. Check the blending cup/blade assembly is correctly placed onto the base.
• Motor protector isn’t working, restart after 20-30 minutes

Stops working

• Too much food in the blending cup which caused an overload. Remove the blending cup/blade assembly from place and decrease the food in the blending cup and reposition/ restart.
• Overload occurred due to more than 1 minute of continuous use.
  Restart after 30-60 minutes.

Leakage on the blending cup and
blade assembly
Make sure the lid or blade assembly is properly assembled to the blending cup.
Leakage may occur if it is misaligned when twisted onto the blending cup. The lid should be turned tightly clockwise.
Blade not working
Food in the blending cup is too big; take out the food and cut into smaller pieces.
Unusual smell during initial use
It is normal that an unusual smell may occur during first time use. After several uses, this smell will disappear.
Unusual smell if operated longer than
1 minute of continuous use
If unit is operated continuously for longer than 1 minute, an unusual smell may also occur. In such a case, turn it off, and let it cool down for 60 minutes.

DISPOSAL OF APPLIANCES AND BATTERIES

This appliance must not be disposed of together with domestic waste. This appliance has to be disposed at an authorized place for recycling of electrical and electronic
appliances. By collecting and recycling waste, you help save natural resources and make sure that the product is disposed in an environmentally friendly and healthy way.
Any replacement of the electrical cord should only be made by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified person.
