Product Usage Instructions
Inserting Cards:
- Pull out the nanoSIM / microSD card holder.
- Insert your cards as needed:
- Two nanoSIM cards or
- One nanoSIM card and one microSD card
- Align the card holder with the slot and push it fully in.
Installing the Battery:
- Align the battery with the compartment and push it down.
- Press the battery down to secure it in place.
Removing the Battery:
- Press and hold the plastic clips at the end of the battery.
- Push the battery forward and lift to remove it.
Checking and Charging the Battery:
- To check battery status:
- Red LED: Battery is charging
- Green LED: Battery is fully charged
- Blue LED: New message/notification
- Before first use, charge for 4 hours.
- During regular use, charge for 4 hours to fully recharge.
- To charge:
- Connect USB Type-C cable to the port on TDC6.
- Connect other end to AC power adapter.
- Plug adapter into electrical outlet.

Inserting the nanoSIM and microSD cards (optional)
- Pull out the nanoSIM / microSD card holder.
- The card holder can hold two nanoSIM cards, or one nanoSIM card and one microSD card at a time. Insert your cards as needed, as follows:
- Align the card holder with the slot, and push it fully in. Make sure the cards stay flat while pushing the card holder back into the slot.
Installing the battery
- Align the battery with the battery compartment, as shown below:
- Press and hold the two plastic clips at the end of the battery, then push the battery forward and down into the battery compartment.
- Press the battery down to secure it in place.
Removing the battery
- Press and hold the two plastic clips at the end of the battery.
- Push the battery forward and lift to remove it.
WARNING – There is a risk of fire and burns if the battery is handled improperly. DO NOT disassemble, crush, puncture, or short-circuit external contacts, or dispose of the battery pack in fire or water. DO NOT attempt to open or service the battery. Dispose of used batteries according to local recycling guidelines in your area.
CAUTION – To ensure the device is working properly, keep all connectors away from contaminants such as dust, grease, mud, and water. Negligence may cause the device to lose communication, short-circuit, or overheat. If the connector is damaged, ensure the connector is fully repaired before using the device to avoid short-circuiting.
Checking the battery charge / LED status
If there is no battery in the device, the LED will not be lit even when the device is connected to a main power source.
Charging the battery
Before using the device for the first time, charge the battery for
approximately 4 hours.
During regular use, charge for 4 hours to fully recharge the battery.
To charge the battery, use the USB charging cable supplied in the box, and the
AC power adaptor (optional accessory, must be purchased separately if needed).
- Connect the USB Type-C cable to the USB Type-C port on the TDC6 handheld.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to the AC power adapter.
- Plug the AC power adaptor into an electrical outlet.
The charging LED indicator turns red when the battery is charging.
