Product Usage Instructions

Prepare the Door and Check Dimensions:
Make sure the hole in the door frame is drilled a minimum of 1/2” (12.7mm) deep to accommodate the latch when the door is closed. -
Latch Backset Adjustment:
Backset is the distance from the door edge to the center of the hole in the door.
If your door backset is 2-3/8” (60mm), no adjustment is needed. If it is 2-3/4” (70mm), adjust the latch accordingly.
IN-SWING DOOR:
The angle of the latch faces outside.
OUT-SWING DOOR:
The angle of the latch faces inside.
IMPORTANT: The latch should be aligned with the chiseled properly, ensuring the hole in the door frame is drilled a minimum of 1″ (25.4mm) deep.
Test the Lever:
Keep the door open and test both front and rear levers to ensure smooth operation. Rotate the base of the spindle aligning it with the hole.

Prepare the door and check dimensions

Make sure the hole in the door frame is drilled a minimum of 1/2’’ (12.7mm) deep, to leave enough space for the latch to extend into the door frame when the door is closed.

Latch backset adjustment
-
Backset is the distance from the door edge to the center of the hole in the door.

The latch is provided with adjustable design which can fit either 2-3/8’’(60mm) or 2-3/4’’(70mm) backset.

A. If the backset of your door is 2- 3/8″(60mm), no need to adjust the latch.

B. If the backset of your door is 2-3/4″(70mm), please adjust the latch.

Install latch and strike
IMPORTANT: -

Install front and rear lever

Test the lever
