DEVICE OVERVIEW
- Using professional technology found in clinics and salons around the world, the CurrentBody Skin™ Laser Hair Removal device is one of the most powerful hair reduction systems available in the home-use market. Using laser technology, you can experience up to 98% hair growth reduction in just 12 weeks.
- Suitable for use on the face, underarms, bikini line, arms, back and legs, you can treat the whole body in as little as 10 minutes. The concentrated beams of laser energy target the pigment (melanin) in the hair follicles, inhibiting their ability to regrow hair.
- Week 1-3 Use 3x per week.
- Week 4-12 Use 1x per week.
- Week 12+ Use 1x per month.
- It is intended for use only on light to medium skin tones (see the skin tone chart) and naturally brown or black hair. It will not work on white, grey, blonde or red hair.

SUITABILITY CHART

HOW TO USE
Before the First Treatment
- Do not wax or pluck your hair 6 weeks prior to your treatment, and do not undergo a skin peel during this period.
- A patch test should be performed at least one day prior to treatment (see below).
Before Each Treatment
- a) Ensure skin is clean and dry before use. Remove all cosmetics, lotions, and creams from the treatment area that may affect the laser’s performance.
- b) Carry out treatment within 4 hours of shaving the area. Removing the surface hair improves comfort and allows the light to better reach the hair in the follicle.
How to Carry Out A Patch Test
Before you start your test, we recommend you check your skin tone against the
Skin Tone Suitability chart.
You will also need to shave the area before patch test.
- Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn the device on.
- The device will take a few moments to initialise, then it will enter ‘Standby’ Mode.
- Press the treatment window against the patch of skin you are wanting to test
- If your skin tone is compatible with the device, the white LED indicator light will illuminate and turn white and the skin tone sensor will start detecting the skin tone. If your skin tone is not compatible, the device will continually ‘beep’ and the indicator light of the light-emitting window will flash blue until it leaves the skin.
- If your skin tone is compatible you can now proceed with your treatment.
- Double-press the power button to unlock the laser. The device is in ‘Ready’ Mode.
- You can now apply the treatment window to the desired area.
- Please carry out one single laser pulse on treatment level 1 (default). If this is tolerable, please move to a new area and try level 2 to establish your ideal comfort level.
- Please increase the level, until you find your desired comfort level.
- Please wait 1 hour after completing your patch test to ensure it is safe to use
- Each time you turn on the device, the skin tone sensor only detects the skin tone once.
Treatment Steps
You will need to shave the area before carrying out a treatment.
- Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn the device on.
- The device will take a few moments to initialise.
- Press the treatment window against the patch of skin you are wanting to treat.
- If your skin tone is compatible with the device, the white LED indicator light will illuminate and turn white and the skin tone sensor will start detecting the skin tone. If it is not compatible, then it will not turn white.
- If your skin tone is compatible you can now proceed with your treatment.
- Double-press the power button to unlock the laser. The device is in ‘Ready’ Mode.
- You can now apply the treatment window to the desired area.
- The skin tone sensor indicator will turn white when in contact with the skin. The light emitting indicator will turn from blue to pink/red to indicate that the user’s skin matches the condition of hair removal.
- Move the device in a ‘stamp and release’ motion along the treatment area, moving after each beep and pink/red light indication. Continue with this motion, ensuring there are no overlaps or missed areas. When the treatment window leaves the skin, the emission ceases within 0.1 seconds.
- After the treatment has been completed, hold the power button for two seconds to turn off the device, and then unplug it. Do not unplug the power plug directly without first turning off the device to avoid damage. If the device remains in the ‘standby’ mode for five minutes without any activity, it will automatically turn off.
Between Treatments
It is recommended that you shave rather than wax or pluck your hair in between
