USE

The contractually guaranteed scope of protection of the respective personal protective equipment results from the relevant provisions of the PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and the standards derived from it in accordance with the declaration of conformity. Any further protection does not exist. Additional dangers such as chemical, biological, electrical or radioactive hazards must be covered by another and/or additional protective equipment.
At this point we would like to point out that the user of this PPE must carry out a risk assessment before use. The user determines through this risk assessment what risk he will have to expect in his operations. The real risk arises from the
extent to which various hazards are likely in relation to the severity of the consequences for the user in such an exposure. The resulting risk assessment is the basis for the selection and application of an adequate protective equipment (with the appropriate protection level if applicable).
Please make sure that your Rosenbauer PPE meets the requirements of your risk assessment with regard to the contractually guaranteed protective effect.
Fire brigade gloves are part of a fire-fighter’s personal protection. They can be used during technical and fire emergencies.

LIMITATIONS TO USE
The protective glove should be checked for damage following subjection to high mechanical, chemical or thermal loads. Water-tight and breathable laminated membrane, but avoid damage to the membrane due to tearing.

Penetrative abrasion or surface damage due to heat, or chemicals, etc. can have a negative effect on protection levels. It is essential that protective gloves showing such, or similar, damage are discarded.
The gloves do not offer protection against chemical and electrical hazards, or bacteria. The gloves remain impervious to water for as long as the membrane is undamaged.

STORAGE

The protective gloves should be dry stored in normal room atmosphere.
CLEANING/CARE
The gloves are washable. Hand washing recommended. Gloves can be washed at temperatures of up to 60° to remove severe contamination. Surface dirt can be removed by brushing. Do not use bleaches or oxidising agents!
