USE

  • The contractually guaranteed scope of protection of the respective personal protective equipment results from the relevant provisions of the PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and the standards derived from it by the declaration of conformity.
  • Any further protection does not exist. Additional dangers such as chemical, biological, electrical or radioactive hazards must be covered by another and/or additional protective equipment.
  • At this point, we would like to point out that the user of this PPE must carry out a risk assessment before use.
  • The user determines through this risk assessment what risk he will have to expect in his operations. The real risk arises from the extent to which various hazards are likely about the severity of the consequences for the user in such an exposure.
  • The resulting risk assessment is the basis for the selection and application of adequate protective equipment (with the appropriate protection level if applicable).
  • Please make sure that your Rosenbauer PPE meets the requirements of your risk assessment about the contractually guaranteed protective effect.
  • The wildfire gloves are part of the protective clothing. They can be used for fire fighting in the open field.

LIMITATIONS TO USE

  • The glove should be checked for damage following subjection to high mechanical, chemical, or thermal loads.
  • Penetrative abrasion or surface damage due to heat, chemicals, etc. can hurt protection levels.
  • Protective gloves showing such, or similar, damage must be discarded.
  • These gloves do not offer protection against chemical, bacteriological, electrical, or thermal hazards (except contact heat up to 100 °C over 15 seconds according to EN407).
  • Do not use it when working with rotating parts. Damaged gloves reduce the protective properties of the gloves and must be replaced.

STORAGE

  • The gloves should be stored in a dry and clean environment.
  • Direct sunlight and humidity should be avoided.

CLEANING/CARE

  • Hand washing is recommended/ Mashinewasching is possible!
  • Attention! Do not use solvents, bleaches, or oxidizing agents!

MATERIAL COMPOSITION

OUTER LAYER

  • Backhand of flame retardent modacrylic fibers.
  • The inner hand is made of resistant cowhide leather with an additional reinforcement between the thumb and the index finger.
  • Elastic cuff keeps out the cut glass and general debris.

INNER LINING

  • Comfort fleece lining on the backhand.
  • Cut resistant lining out of nylon fiber glass on the back and inner hand.
