Product Usage Instructions

• Before using the SmartHome RC Weather Station ClimateConnect CL, please read all instructions carefully.
• Open the package and ensure all components are included: Smart Home Funkwetterstation ClimateConnect CL, Funksensor 7009996, EU/UK Netzteil.
• Place the weather station in a suitable location with good wifi signal reception.
• Connect the DC-Netz adapter to the weather station or insert batteries into the battery compartment.
• Set the language, date, time, and alarm preferences according to your needs using the control buttons.

General Warnings
DANGER!
This device contains electronic components which operate via a power source (power supply and/or batteries). Only use the device as described in the manual, or you run the risk of an electric shock.
Keep batteries out of the reach of children! Make sure you insert the batteries correctly. Empty or damaged batteries could cause burns if they come into contact with the skin. If necessary, wear adequate gloves for protection.
ATTENTION!
Do not disassemble the device. In the event of a defect, please contact your dealer. The dealer will contact the Service Centre and can send the device in to be repaired, if necessary. Do not expose the device to temperatures above 60°C.

Before you start

1. Insert batteries for the outdoor sensor before doing same step for the main unit (main unit supply with AC adaptor or batteries).
2. Place the main unit as close as possible to the sensor.
3. Place the sensor and main unit within the effective transmission range.
4. Press the DOWN button to switch the display between °C or °F, the display will change for the indoor temperature as well as for the outdoor temperature.
5. Once the batteries are installed or connected with AC adaptor, the main unit will start displaying the interior measurement information. It will display the information from the outdoor sensor for the first time approximately 3-4 minutes after the power supply was established.

Power supply

Outdoor Sensor

1. Open the battery compartment

2. Move the CH switch (25) to the position (1-3) which corresponds with the channel will be used for transmission.
   ( select channel 1 if only one sensor is connected)

3. Install 2 batteries (AAA size, 1.5V) strictly according to the polarities marks.

4. Closed the battery compartment.

Main Unit

1. Open the battery compartment.
2. Install 3 batteries (AAA size, 1.5V) strictly according to the polarities marks, close the compartment.
3. Or just use AC adaptor.

Low battery display
When batteries need to be replaced, the respective low battery indicator() for the main unit or the outdoor sensor will be shown on the display of the main unit. With AC adaptor supply, low battery indicator is shown with empty.

Notice! Display goes into battery save mode after approximately 10 seconds in battery mode and can be GB reactivated for 10 seconds at a time by pressing the snooze/light button.

Set language

1. Press and hold MODE for 3 seconds, the ENG display will flash, press UP or DOWN to select the desired language.
   The languages are GER/ENG/DUT/DAN/ITA/SPA//FRE.

2. The YEAR display will flash, press UP or DOWN to set the required year.

3. Press MODE again to set the MONTH and DATE, press UP or DOWN to set the required date.

4. Press MODE again to set 12/24 H, press UP or DOWN to select the desired time format.

5. Press MODE again to set the current hour and minute using UP or DOWN.

6. Press MODE again to save all settings.

Comfort Face

• Humidity is lower than 40%; at the same time, the temperature is higher than 20°C, but lower than 27°C.
• Humidity is higher than 70%, or temperature is lower than 20°C, or temperature is higher than 27°C.
• Humidity is between 40%-70%, at the same time, the temperature is higher than 20°C, but lower than 27°C.

5 days weather forecast
Depending on the forecast, up to 28 different weather symbols are displayed for the current day and the next 4 days:

Start to manual operate

1. Press MODE for 3 seconds, the ENG display is flickering, press press UP or DOWN to set the desired language.
   Languages are: GER/ENG/DUT/DAN/ITA/SPA//FRE

2. the YEAR display is flickering, press UP or DOWN to set the desired year.

3. Press MODE again, go to set the MONTH and DATE, press UP or DOWN to get the desired date.

4. Press MODE again, go to set 12/24H, press UP or DOWN to get the desired time format.

5. Press MODE again, go to set the current hour and minutes by pressing UP or Down button.

6. Press MODE again, to save all value.

Alarm

Set the alarm time

1. In normal time mode, press the MODE button enters alarm time mode, continuing to press MODE button to select alarm 1&2&3.

2. Press UP button to active the alarm function, the bell icon is shown.

3. Press MODE button for 3 seconds, the alarm hour time and minutes will flicker, press UP or DOWN button to set the desired value.

4. Press Mode button again, The weekday is flickering, use UP or DOWN button to select the alarm day from 3 options:
   Option 1: MO/TU/WE/TH/FR/SA/SU, means the alarm rings every day
   Option 2: SA/SU, means alarm rings on the weekend.
   Option 3: MO/TU/WE/TH/FR, means alarm rings on a working day.

5. Press Mode button again to save all values.

Snooze time
Once alarm is ringing, press the top touch button to enter 5 minutes of Snooze time. Press any button to stop the ring.

Backlight
Press the Snooze/light button to activate 10 seconds backlight

Temperature and humidity

Measurement

• Indoor temperature range: -10°C -50°C
• Outdoor temperature range: -50°C -70°C
• Resolution for temperature: 0.1°C
• Humidity range (indoor and outdoor): 20%-95%
• Resolution for humidity: 1%

Receiving measurements GB
Once batteries are placed into the outdoor sensor, it will start transmitting temperature readings at roughly 60-second intervals. As soon as batteries are installed in the main unit it will start searching for a signal from the sensor for about 3-4 minutes. Upon successful reception of the signal, the outdoor temperature will be displayed on the main unit. The main unit will automatically update its readings at about 60-second intervals.

Indoor & Outdoor temperature alert setting

Press an ALERT button to activate the temperature alert function. Icon will be shown.

• Press and hold the ALERT button and enter the outdoor temperature alert setting, Icon is flickering. Press UP button to set upper limit value, press the ALERT button again, use UP button to set lower limit value.

• Set indoor value first, then set outdoor value. Leave it for approx. 10 seconds, your values will be saved.
  ***if more than 1 sensor matched, press CHANNEL to select channels first.

• If the set alarm value is exceeded, the corresponding value flashes and an alarm signal sounds. The signal can be silenced by pressing the snooze/light button. The display will flash until the value falls below the set alarm level.

• Transmission range (for outdoor sensor)

• Transmission range between transmitter and main unit: 50 meters (70 meters in open area)

Max/Min

1. Max/Min record, it refreshes itself at every 0:00 am.
2. Press UP button to check MAX temperature-MIN temperature-Current temperature.
3. Press and hold the UP button for about 3 seconds to clear memory.
4. After 10 seconds the display returns to normal mode.

Network match(only available with AC adaptor connection)

1. First download the tuya app from the Apple App Store for iOS or Google PlayStore for Android.
2. Make sue the main device connects with AC adaptor.
3. Open tuya App, register.
4. Add device
5. Key onto WIFI name and password of your place, home or office..etc.
6. The device should now be connected.

UV Index
UV index data from the Tuya platform, from UV 0 to UV 15. The UV index is obtained from Weatherbit via Wifi Route.

Tuya Life App
ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
The console works with the Tuya Life App for Android and iOS smartphones.

1. Scan the QR code to go to the Tuya Life download page.
2. OR Download Tuya Life from Google Play or Apple App store.
3. Install the Tuya Life App.
4. Follow the instructions to create your own account using your phone number or email.
5. Once the account registration is completed, the Home Screen will be shown.

Note:

• There is no Registration code needed if the email method is chosen.
• The App may be subject to change without notice.
• You may be prompted to allow the App to have access to your location. This will allow the App to give you general weather information in your area. The App will still work if you don’t allow access to that.

Automatical pairing base device and Tuya App

1. Put the device connected with AC adaptor as close as the Router(Wifi), and the symbol of the base station flashes
2. Open Tuya App, tab the ‘Add Device’ to add your console to enter pairing mode.
3. Please ress the Down button for approx. 3 seconds to put your base into pairing mode. The small dot of the Wifi signal symbol flashes. The base is now in AP connection mode.
4. Once connected successfully, the WIFI symbol stops flashing.

Manually paring base device and Tuya App

1. Please press the Down button for approx. 3 seconds to put your base station into pairing mode. The small dot of the Wifi signal symbol flashes. The base station is now in AP connection mode.
2. Once request to connect with a new WIFI, also press the Down button for approx.3 seconds to remove the existing device on app
3. Once connected successfully, the WIFI symbol stops flashing.

What’s the reason for connecting with App?

1. Check the weather forecast on the App.
2. Set alarms and temperature alert on the App
3. Check the temperature and humidity graph on the App.
4. Download the temperature and humidity graph from the App.

Set Alarm Time

1. To Set alarm time tap the ‘Alarm setting’ icon

2. Alarm 1, Alarm 2, Alarm 3 time setting.
   Tap the 0:00, then can select the time. Turn on the On-Off button.

3. Select Alarm 1 or 2 or 3, to set the alarm days of the week, then press the “Confirm” button to save values.

Set Temperature Alert

1. Set temperature alert
   Tap the Temperature alert icon

2. Turn on the On-Off button, Set the MIN or MAX temperature alert then confirm with “Confirm” the operation.

Check Temperatur Graph

1. To check the temperature Graph select the temperature graph or humidity graph you desire, also download the temperature history.
   • Temperature graph option
   • Temperature history sheet
   • Date for selection
2. Choose related Graph data for checking, tap the selection window on the upper-left corner. Select between daily data and monthly data. Then confirm the operation.
3. Enter your email address to receive the graph sheet.
4. To select temperature unit.
   Fahrenheit, degree or Celsius degree, then confirm the operation. Confi rm with “Confirm”.
