Product Usage Instructions
Condenser Coils Cleaning
- Turn off and disconnect power to the condenser.
- Remove any debris or heavy soil by hand.
- Shake the can of foam cleaner well.
- Spray foam cleaner onto the condenser coils, avoiding electrical components.
- Rinse dirt and foam thoroughly from coils using a water hose, avoiding electrical components.
- If necessary, cover electrical components with a plastic bag to prevent contact with cleaner or water.
- For heavily soiled condensers, a repeat application may be needed.
- Allow excess water to drain before reconnecting power.
- Reconnect power and turn on the unit.
Air Handler Pull-Rod Sprayer Assembly
- Insert one end of the plastic tube into the sprayer.
- Fill the provided bottle with clean water and attach the tube to reach the bottom of the bottle.
- Attach the sprayer securely to the bottle.
Air Handler Pull-Rod Sprayer Usage
- Pump the handle of the sprayer to build pressure.
- Depress the button on top to spray water and rinse coils. Adjust spray pattern using the nozzle.
Evaporator Coils Cleaning:
- Turn off and disconnect power from the unit.
- Open the front cover and remove filters.
- Hang the water collection bag off the unit for water collection during cleaning.

Q: What safety precautions should I take when using the cleaner and
sprayer?
A: It is recommended to wear gloves, safety glasses, and a face mask to
avoid inhaling fumes and prevent skin or eye contact with the cleaner.
Condenser Coils (Outdoor Unit):
A/C Foam Cleaner, Pull-Rod Sprayer, and water bottle
- Turn off and disconnect power to the condenser.
- Remove any debris or heavy soil that can easily be removed by hand.
- Shake can well.
- Spray foam cleaner onto the condenser coils completely and allow it to soak for a few minutes. Avoid spraying cleaner on any of the electrical components.
- Using water hose, thoroughly rinse the dirt and cleaning foam from the condenser coils. Avoid spraying any water on the electrical components. CAUTION: Avoid spraying cleaner or water on any of the electrical components within the unit. If necessary, cover them with a plastic bag. This could create a safety risk and/or electric shock.
- For condensers heavily saturated with dirt and debris, a repeat application may be necessary.
- Allow some time for any excess water to run out from the condenser before reconnecting the power.
- Reconnect the power and turn on the unit.
AIR HANDLER PULL-ROD SPRAYER ASSEMBLY Assembly:
- Insert one end of the round plastic tube into the small opening on the bottom side of the sprayer as shown.
- Now, using the bottle provided in the kit and fill it with clean water. Then, insert the other end of the plastic tube into the bottle opening and feed it through until it reaches the bottom.
- Then, attach the sprayer to the bottle by threading it onto the bottle opening and tightening until secure
Use:
- In order to use the sprayer, you must first pump the handle on the end of the sprayer a few times to build pressure.
- Once pressure has been built, depress the button on the top to spray water and thoroughly rinse coils.
NOTE : The spray pattern can be adjusted by turning the nozzleon the end of the sprayer.
Evaporator Coils
**(Wall-Mounted Indoor Unit only)*** :
(A/C Foam Cleaner, Water Collection Bag,
- Turn off and disconnect the power from the unit being serviced.
- Open the front cover and remove the filters.
- Unfold the water collection bag and hang it off of the back of the air handler with the black strap so it will hang fully and evenly underneath the air handler. This bag will act as a catchall to catch any water, debris, and foam cleaner rinsed from the evaporator coils.
- Attach the drain pipe to the spout at the bottom of the bag
- Run the end of the drain hose into an empty receptacle, such as a bucket.
- Shake the A/C Foam Cleaner well.
- Spray the cleaning foam onto the evaporator coils through the vent openings at the top of the air handler and the portion of the coils that are visible at the front of the air handler (where the filters were removed).
- Allow the cleaning foam to sit for a few minutes and work into the coils.
- Then, using the sprayer, rinse any dirt and excess foam from the coils. Avoid spraying any of the electrical components. Caution: Avoid spraying cleaner or water on any of the electrical components within the unit. If necessary, cover them with a plastic bag. This could create a safety risk and/or electric shock.
- Allow some time for the dirt, cleaning foam, and excess water to run through the coils and into the water collection bag and drain into the bucket.
- Now, remove the bag from the air handler and disconnect the drain hose from the bucket.
- Dispose of the waste water collected in the bucket.
- Remove used Air Freshening Filter. Clean filters with warm soapy (mild detergent), water and gently rinse with fresh water. Shake off any excess water and allow the filters to air dry. Insert new Air Freshening Filter.
- Reinstall the filters into the air handler and close the front cover.
- If performing these steps on a multi-zone system, repeat each step for each air handler in the system.
- Reconnect and turn on the power to the unit.
*Wall mounted air handlers only. Not for use with DIY Ceiling Cassette air handler.
