MANAMED ManaEZ Night Splint Plantar Fasciitis
INDICATIONS FOR USE
Ideal for patients that need to stretch the Achilles Tendon or Plantar Fascia.
Common indications are Plantar Fasciitis, Tight Achilles, Achilles Tendonitis
and conditions where dorsiflexing the foot is part of the rehabilitation
protocol.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The ManaEZ Night Splint is available in three sizes and can be applied to
either the right or left foot.
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS / WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
If you experience any excessive pain consult your medical practitioner. Use
this product only under the guidance of a medical professional. If any
problems occur with the use of this product contact your medical professional.
Please read instructions thoroughly before use.
FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
- Unhook buckles on 3 straps across front.
- With boot resting on floor, place foot inside, sliding heel all the way back.
- Place optional wedge underneath liner for extra stretch.
- Attach bottom strap and adjust until snug.
- Continue by attaching remaining 2 straps, adjusting for tightness.
- After a few days, gradually adjust dorsiflexion straps for greater stretch.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Plantar flexion contracture greater than 10 degrees.
- Uncontrollable, severe plantar flexion spasticity.
- This is not designed for use outdoors, on slippery or uneven surfaces.
- This product is not designed to be worn while ambulating outdoors.
CLEANING AND CARE
Remove soft good liner from brace and hand wash liner using cold water and a
mild detergent.
Air dry. Plastic component can be wiped off with damp cloth.
