Product Usage Instructions

  1. Instrument Operation:
    Press the button to activate the thermometer. The temperatures will
    be displayed with auto-rotation based on orientation. The
    thermometer will auto-off after 10 minutes, but this can be
    disabled by pressing the button 6 times. Press and hold the button
    for 5 seconds to turn off the instrument. To activate the
    backlight, press the button once while the instrument is on and
    press again to turn it off.

  2. Probe Usage:
    Insert the stainless steel probe to the desired depth. The measured
    temperature will be shown on the LCD display within 3-4
    seconds.

  3. Battery Installation:
    Replace the battery when the low battery symbol ‘Bat’ flashes. Use
    a 3-volt CR2032 button-cell battery or equivalent. Open the battery
    cover with a screwdriver, observe correct polarity (+ side up),
    slide the battery under the metal clip, and close the cover without
    overtightening.

FAQ

Q: How do I disable the auto-off feature?

A: Press the button 6 times, and the display
will flash OFF twice to disable. Pressing it 6 times again will
enable it, with the display flashing ON twice. The auto-off setting
is saved even if the instrument is turned off.

Q: How do I know when to replace the
battery?

A: Replace the battery when the low battery
symbol ‘Bat’ flashes on the display.

Instrument Operation Press the button to activate the thermometer. Temperatures will be displayed and the display will auto-rotate depending on orientation. The thermometer will turn off automatically after 10 minutes. This can be disabled. Press and hold the button for 5 seconds to turn instrument off. To activate the backlight, press the button once while the instrument is turned on. Press again to turn off.

Battery Installation Replace the battery when low battery symbol `Bat’ flashes. Replace with a 3-volt, type CR2032, button-cell battery or equivalent. Use a screwdriver of suitable size to open the battery cover on the back. Install the battery observing the correct polarity, (+) positive side up, sliding the battery under the metal clip. Close the battery cover. Do not overtighten.

Care and Cleaning Clean the probe immediately after each measurement to avoid cross contamination. Do not expose the entire thermometer to temperatures over 190°F (88°C). Do not leave inside ovens.
