INTRODUCTION

Thank you for shopping with Ozarké, we really appreciate your business. Our goal is to provide an excellent customer service before, during and after delivery. We’ve included a guide on how to install this light, should you require additional assistance please feel free to email us at info@ozarke.com and one of our customer service reps will reach out to assist you.

Before you get started:
Turn off electrical power to the fixture at the electrical panel. Use the appropriate voltage tester to ensure no power is present at the fixture before you begin work. Do not rely on a wall switch to protect you from electrical shock. Installation requires an experienced electrician.
Important Note: this product doesn’t cover a standard US junction box due to the slim design. We’ve included junction box cover that you can install to cover the box. The wall plate comes in two pieces, combined together they make a square shape cover. See image below:

Installation Instructions

Be sure to cut off power
IN CASE OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!

Use a pencil or a pen to mark the drilling position. You can use the silver bracket to mark the position of the light. During this process, it is very important to ensure you account for the wiring position on your wall or ceiling.
Using a drill, drill holes into the wall where you marked in step 1.
Insert drywall anchors into each hole. Don’t damage or force the anchor in the hole. If the hole is small, try to make the hole(s) bigger.
Screw the silver brackets to the wall using a screw driver. Don’t attach the lamp. This step to be completed after wiring.
Now that you have setup the position of the lamp, it is time to wire the lamp.
Before wiring, use step 5 if you need a plate to cover the hole in your wall, also known as junction box. You may skip the below step if not needed.
(Skip step 5 if you don’t need a plate to cover the junction box opening)
If you have a hole that is wider than the lamp, we have included a junction box cover. Simply mark the drilling position using a pencil, and drill 6 holes that are marked on the junction box cover. Insert drywall anchors into each hole and screw the wall plate on the wall. The wall plate comes in two pieces, combined together they make a square shape cover. It’s important to ensure the wall wires are still accessible, insert them through the center of the junction box cover.
Black Wire: Live, White wire: Neutral, Green wire: Ground
Use the provided waterproof connector to wire the lamp. Put through the wires from the lamp into one end of the connector. Loosen the screws slightly in the middle of the connector. Place the wire through then tighten the screw to hold the wire in place.
Repeat this step again for your wall wires.
Attach the wall lamp to the silver brackets using the provided screws. Now you may turn your electrical power back on and test the lamp.

REMOTE CONTROL INSTRUCTIONS

LINKING/ UNLINKING CODE INSTRUCTION

When linking the lights to the remote, switch off the light, wait for 10 seconds, and then turn it on again. Repeat the same process when unlinking the product.
To link the lights, Press the “ON” button 3 times within 3 seconds when the lights are on. Also, to unlink the lights, Press “OFF” button 5 times within 3 Seconds when the lights are on.
When the light blinks slowly 3 times, it indicates that the linking process has been completed successfully. When the light blinks rapidly 10 times, it signifies that the unlinking process has been successfully executed.

Helpful notes:

When using the remote, if the indicated lamp blinks quickly, We suggest changing the battery in time. Please don’t use a poor quality battery to avoid the leaking of battery liquid which leads to the damage of the remote.
This 2.4GHz remote is a precise electronic product; don’t use it in humid, high temperature, dust and high voltage environments; Saving it in indoor, dry and no static electricity environment.
Please don’t use the remote on the wide-range metal or strong electromagnetic wave area, otherwise, it will badly affect the controlling distance.

APP CONTROL INSTRUCTIONS

Download the “Tuya Smart” or the “Smart Life” app on your mobile phone before using it. You can search in Google Play Store (Android) or Apple Store (IOS) or you can scan the QR code to download and install the app.
After downloading the app, ensure that your mobile phone’s Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz) are both turned on and available to connect.
Open the app and register or log in. If you do not have an account, click “create a new account” to register. If you already have an account, you can directly log in with the existing account (follow the application instructions for guidance).
Before adding the device to the app, make sure to turn on the light and check whether it rapidly blinks. If it doesn’t blink, switch the light on and off (repeat 4 times) until the light quickly blinks.
After logging into your account, under “Home”, tap the plus sign (+) in the upper right corner or click “Add Device.” Wait for the application to search and connect to the light. If that doesn’t work, close the app and reopen it.
Once the controller is successfully connected, tap the connected light to enter the control interface. You can then rename the light to whatever name you choose.
You can turn on and off the light, adjust the brightness and light color. Additionally, you can add a dimming mode, scene mode and music rhythm, which are available in the app.
Dimming mode: Adjustable and increasing mode (red, orange, yellow, chartreuse, green, turquoise, cyan, indigo, blue, purple, magenta, fuchsia, red) and white light
(There are varying degrees of cold and warm light), Brightness can be adjusted at the bottom of the screen.
Scene mode: A total of 34 modes, divided into theme mood (12modes), holiday companionship (8modes), colorful life (14 modes).
Music modes: there are three types of rhythm, game and romance, this mode can change color with the sound.
More modes : You can set a schedule to automatically turn on and off the light. Also, you have the option to customize it to turn on and off at a specific time of your choice.

Helpful notes:

  * Avoid turning the light on or off using the switch; instead, use the app to do so. If you must use the switch, allow the app 5-10 seconds to reprogram. During these 10 seconds, you won’t be able to use the app.
  * If you do not have a 2.4 GHz network, please refer to your device’s settings on how to set it up. Searching “Device Name 2.4GHz setup” should lead you to an article that guides you through the setup process.
  * You only need to connect your phone to the 2.4 GHz network initially when pairing the device. After that, you can control your lights from anywhere using any WiFi connection.

Alexa Voice Control Instruction

Download the Alexa app on your mobile phone before using it. You can search in Google Play Store (Android) or Apple Store (IOS).
After installing, Open the Alexa app. Click “More” on the bottom right corner and click “Skill and Games”
Click the magnifying glass icon on the top right corner and search for “Smart life”. Follow the instructions to finish the configuration and start the voice control

Google Home Voice Control Instruction

Download the Google Home app on your mobile phone before using it. You can search in Google Play Store (Android) or Apple Store (IOS).
After installing, Open the Google Home app. Click “+” on the top left corner.
Click “Set up device” and choose “Works with Google”
Click the search bar on the upper corner and search for “Smart Life”. Follow the instructions to finish the configuration and start the voice control.
