ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Read this manual carefully before assembling the pizza oven. We recommend that you perform installation on a soft surface, such as a rug, to avoid damaging the paint. Please note that the surface of cast metal naturally contains imperfections. These are not defects, but elements that enhance the beauty of the product.

  • Do not throw away the packaging until you have determined that all mounting parts are present.
  • Make sure that no children are nearby during installation. This product contains small parts that could be swallowed by children.
  • Keep the installation instructions for future use. Alternatively, you can download a PDF version from the product page on the Bonfire website. Scan the QR code on the box with your mobile phone to go to the corresponding page.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS USER’S MANUAL

During the use of this product, care and caution should be exercised. This product is for outdoor use only and will become very hot during and after use.

BEFORE USE

This product must be used outdoors only. When used on a terrace/patio, there must be no objects in the immediate vicinity and any roof must be opened so that any smoke can easily be discharged. Place the product on a smooth surface and away from any objects that are flammable. Always keep an eye on the fire as this product is located low to the ground.

WARNING

  1. DO NOT use the product if you have heart or lung problems, as breathing in smoke can aggravate these problems.
  2. DO NOT move the product after the fire has been started.
  3. DO NOT sit/stand too close to the product, keep a safe distance.
  4. DO NOT overfill the product during use.
  5. DO NOT use fire accelerant to light the fire.
  6. Only use dried wood or charcoal as fuel
  7. DO NOT use the product during inclement weather.
  8. Keep flammable liquids far away from the product as the heat given off may cause these liquids to catch fire.
  9. Use the product only in conjunction with a poker. Once the fire is lit, DO NOT touch the lid with your bare hands or oven mitts. Use only the poker to lift the lid if necessary.
  10. Stay at a sufficient distance from the product. Keep children and pets away from the product.
  11. The product should be operated and maintained by adults.
  12. Make sure there are no flammable materials in the area where the product is placed. Dry leaves, paper, dry grass, or pine needles can easily catch fire when they come in contact with runaway coals or sparks.
  13. Walk carefully towards and near the product once the fire is lit to avoid slipping or falling near the product.

ATTENTION POINTS BEFORE USE

  • Inform with your local fire department about any fire bans and/or regulations for this product.
  • The product can remain hot and smoldering for up to 24 hours after the visible fire is extinguished.
  • Smoldering patio fireplaces are a common cause of injury and burns, especially with children.
  • When placed outside, the surface of the fireplace discolors. Furthermore, discoloration occurs due to the product’s reaction to heat/open flames.

DETERMINATION OF SUCCESSFUL LOCATION

The product should be placed in a safe location. It should not be placed near buildings, walls, outdoor furniture,
inflatable pools or other flammable objects. Nearby objects could catch fire from heat or flames. Place the product on a non-combustible surface, free of overhanging objects.

USE

This product is for outdoor use only and will become very hot during use. Using the wrong materials in this product can be extremely dangerous. Use only charcoal or dried wood. Do not use highly flammable objects such as clothing, rags of cloth,  paper towels, handkerchiefs or other materials that can burn uncontrollably. Do not use gasoline, turpentine, lighter fluid, alcohol or similar substances to light a fire. . Never leave the product unattended while burning.

WIND

The product should be sheltered from wind and should not be used when the wind is strong or gusting. Wind causes smoke and fire to be blown back and forth, which can cause sparks and coals to spread. When using the product during a light breeze, be careful of small sparks or coals flying around. Do not place the product near objects that may catch fire.

HUMANS AND PETS

Maintain supervision of children and pets when the patio fire is in use. Make sure everyone around the product knows that the fire is burning and that smoke and sparks may be released. Keep children and pets at a safe distance from patio fireplaces to prevent burns and inhalation of smoke. The product get very hot and can cause burns to anyone who gets too close

ADEQUATELY PUT OUT THE FIRE

The product is dangerous if the fire is not put out properly. Do not extinguish the fire by throwing water into the product as this may cause deformation , rust or peeling paint. The fire should be allowed to extinguish by itself or else be put out with a fire extinguisher. It should be noted that the fire can still smolder and coals remain hot even if there are no visible flames. Remain near the product after the flames have been extinguished to check for burning coals or smoke. This is an indication that the fire is still burning. If in doubt, when the product has been given enough time to cool completely, fill its interior with water to ensure that the fire is completely out. After use, the product can remain hot for hours.

CLEANING

Once you are certain that the fire is out and the product has cooled down, remove the remaining ash and material
(charcoal or wood). DO NOT USE CHEMICAL CLEANING PRODUCTS because they may cause a flash-fire the next time you use the product.

STORAGE

It is recommended to keep the product sheltered from rain when not in use. After you are sure that the fire is completely extinguished, clean the product and put it somewhere where it cannot get wet.
Storage and use of the product as described does not constitute a guarantee against potential rusting.
