Product Usage Instructions

  1. Installation

    • The air conditioner should be installed in a flat area without any obstacles obstructing it.
    • Ensure there is at least a 30cm clearance around the air conditioner and do not block the air outlet.
    • Avoid installing the unit in a dry cleaner.
    • Ensure that socket wiring follows local electric safety requirements.
  2. Exhaust Hose Installation
    Temporary Installation:

  3. Twist both ends of the exhaust hose into the square fixing clip and the flat fixing clip.

  4. Insert the square fixing clip into openings at the back of the air conditioner.

  5. Put the other end of the exhaust hose near a windowsill.

  6. Window Slider Kit Installation

    • The window slider kit can be installed horizontally or vertically based on the window size.
    • Check the minimum and maximum size of the window before installation.

SAFETY WARNINGS

  • These instructions are highly important, please read this instruction manual before using the device and save it for future reference.
  • JOCCA is only responsible for the proper use of this product as described in this manual.
  • Before using the device for the first time, unpack and verify that it is in perfect condition, if not, do not use the device and go to JOCCA as the warranty covers all manufacturing defects.
  • This product is only suitable for domestic use. Do not use the device outdoors. Do not leave the device upon exposure to outside factors such as rain, snow, sun, etc.
  • This appliance can be used by children of 8 and above, and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge if they are supervised or instructed appropriately and safely about the use of the appliance and understand the hazards involved. Any cleaning and maintenance must be carried out by the user or if they are carried out by a child of 8 or above they must be supervised.
  • Keep the appliance and its cable out of the reach of children under 8 years old.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the device.
  • Do not immerse the appliance or any part of it in water or any other liquid.
  • If your appliance has been dropped or fallen into water or any other liquid do not use it or try to repair it. Contact the JOCCA technical service department.
  • Do not pull the cable to unplug the appliance from the mains, always pull from the plug.
  • For your safety and for the appliance to work correctly, always use JOCCA spare parts and accessories.
  • If you detect that the power supply cable or the plug is damaged, do not use the appliance or try to replace the cable yourself. Go directly to the authorized JOCCA technical service where they will replace it correctly for you, to avoid danger.
  • Please unplug the appliance from the mains electricity supply when not in use, before cleaning, and if it is not working.
  • Use the appliance on a smooth, horizontal, stable, and level surface.
  • Do not move the appliance during use.
  • Do not leave the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner; next to a hot oven or a microwave oven.
  • Leave sufficient space above and to the sides of the unit for proper air circulation.
  • Do not leave the product unattended.
  • Before connecting the appliance to the mains, check that the cable and plug are in perfect condition. Also, check that the voltage indicated on the appliance is valid for your electrical installation.
  • Unwind the power cord completely to prevent overheating.
  • This device will only be disconnected when it is unplugged from the mains.
  • Do not use the appliance with wet hands or bare feet.
  • Do not cover the air vent with the appliance in operation.
  • Do not use means to accelerate the defrosting process or to clean, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
  • The appliance shall be stored in a room without continuously operating ignition sources (for example: open flames, an operating gas appliance or an operating electric heater.)
  • Do not pierce or burn.
  • Be aware that refrigerants may not contain an odor.
  • The appliance shall be installed, operated, and stored in a room with a floor area larger than 4m2.
  • Keep any required ventilation openings clear of obstruction.
  • Servicing shall be performed only as recommended by the manufacturer.
  • The appliance shall be stored in a well-ventilated area where the room size corresponds to the room area as specified for operation.
  • Any person who is involved with working on or breaking into a refrigerant circuit should hold a current valid certificate from an industry-accredited assessment authority, which authorizes their competence to handle refrigerants safely under an industry-recognized assessment specification.
  • Servicing shall only be performed as recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
  • Maintenance and repair requiring the assistance of other skilled personnel shall be carried out under the supervision of the person competent in the use of flammable refrigerants.
  • All working procedure that affects safety means shall only be carried out by competent persons.

Notes:

  • The air conditioning is only suitable for indoor use and is not suitable for other applications.
  • Follow local grid interconnection rules while installing the air conditioning and ensure that it is properly grounded. If you have any questions on electrical installation, follow the instructions of the manufacturer, and if necessary, ask a professional electrician to install it.
  • Place the machine in a flat and dry place and keep a distance of above 50cm between the machine and the surrounding objects or walls.
  • After the air conditioning is installed, ensure that the power plug is intact and firmly plugged into the power outlet, and place the power cord orderly to prevent someone from being tripped or pulling out the plug.
  • Do not put any object into the air inlet and outlet of the air conditioning. Keep the air inlet and outlet free from obstructions.
  • When drainage pipes are installed, ensure that the drainage pipes are properly connected, and are not distorted or bent.
  • While adjusting the upper and lower wind-guide strips of the air outlet, pluck them with your hands gently to avoid damaging wind-guide strips.
  • When moving the machine, make sure that it is in an upright position.
  • The machine should stay away from gasoline, flammable gas, stoves, and other heat sources.
  • Don’t disassemble, overhaul, and modify the machine arbitrarily, otherwise, it will cause a machine malfunction or even bring harm to persons and properties. To avoid danger, if a machine failure occurs, ask the manufacturer or professionals to repair it.
  • Do not install and use the air conditioning in the bathroom or other humid environments.
  • Do not pull the plug to turn off the machine.
  • Do not place cups or other objects on the body to prevent water or other liquids from spilling into the air conditioning.
  • Do not use insecticide sprays or other flammable substances near the air conditioning.
  • Do not wipe or wash the air conditioning with chemical solvents such as gasoline and alcohol. When you need to clean the air conditioning, you must disconnect the power supply, and clean it with a half-wet soft cloth. If the machine is really dirty, scrub it with a mild detergent.
  • The appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard. The appliance shall be installed by national wiring regulations.
  • Do not operate your air conditioner in a wet room such as a bathroom or laundry room.

TRANSPORTATION, MARKING AND STORAGE FOR UNITS

  • Transport of equipment containing flammable refrigerants. Compliance with the transport regulations.
  • Marking of equipment using signs.
  • Compliance with local regulations.
  • Disposal of equipment using flammable refrigerants.

Compliance with national regulations.

  • Storage of equipment/appliances.
  • The storage of equipment should be by the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Storage of packed (unsold) equipment.
  • Storage package protection should be constructed such that mechanical damage to the equipment inside the package will not cause a leak of the refrigerant charge.
  • The maximum number of pieces of equipment permitted to be stored together will be determined by local regulations.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Before starting operations in this section:

  1. Find a place where there is a power supply nearby.
  2. As shown below install the exhaust hose, and adjust the window position well.
  3. Insert the power cord into the mains.
  4. Please open the front window-shades first, and then press the power button to turn ON the machine.

Installation

Installation Explanations

  • A removal air-conditioner shall be installed in the flat and without any obstacles. Don’t block the air outlet, and the required distance around should be at least 30cm.
  • Should not be installed in a dry cleaner.
  • Socket wiring should be by the local electric safety requirements.

Introduction to Exhaust Hose Installation

Temporary installation:

  1. Twist both ends of the exhaust hose into the square fixing clip and the flat fixing clip.
  2. Insert the square fixing clip into openings at the back of the air conditioner.
  3. Put the other end of the exhaust hose to the near windowsill.

Window Slider Kit Installation

  • The installation manner of the window slider kit is mostly “horizontal” and “vertical”, is not much difference in the actual process.
  • As shown below check the min. and max. size of the window.

Continuous drainage – pipe installation

  1. Remove the screw cover of the machine and pull out the rubber water plug inside;
  2. Install the drainage nozzle;
  3. Finally, install the drainpipe on the drain changer

Internal Tank Water Full Alarm Function
The inner water tank in the air-conditioner has one water level safety switch, it controls water level. When the water level reaches an anticipated height, the water full indicator lamp lights up. (If the water pump is damaged when the water is full, please remove the rubber blockage at the bottom of the unit, and all water will drain outside.)

Cautions for cooling and dehumidifying operations:

  • When using functions on cooling and dehumidifying, keep at least 3 minutes between each POWER.
  • The power supply meets the requirements.
  • The socket is for AC use.
  • Do not share one socket with other appliances.
  1. Cooling operation

    • Press the “Mode” button till the “Cool” icon appears.
    • Press the “ ”or“ ”button to select a desired room temperature. (16°C-31°C)
    • Press the “Fan Speed” button to select wind speed.
  2. Dehumidifying operation
    Press the “Mode” button till the “Dehumidify Indicator Lamp” blinks

    • Set the selected temperature to the current room temperature minus 2°C.(16°C-31°C)
    • Set the fan motor to LOW wind speed.
  3. Fan operation

    • Press the “Mode” button till the “Fan” icon appears.
    • Press the “Fan Speed” button to select wind speed.
  4. Timer operation
    Timer ON setting:

    • When the air-conditioner is OFF, press the “Timer” button and select a desired ON time through the temperature and time setting buttons.

    • “Preset ON Time” is displayed on the operation panel.

    • ON time can be regulated at any time in 0-24 hours.
      Timer OFF setting:

    • When the air-conditioner is ON, press the “Timer” button and select a desired OFF time through the temperature and time setting buttons.

    • “Preset OFF Time” is displayed on the operation panel.

    • OFF time can be regulated at any time in 0-24 hours.

  5. Drainage mode

  6. Condensate automatic evaporation drainage
    The machine can automatically evaporate condensed water and discharge it through the exhaust pipe In the refrigeration and dehumidification mode, the machine does not need to connect the drainage pipe for drainage, please ensure that the water plug of the machine has been installed.

    Refer to the installation guide below.

  8. Water filled with alarm

  * When the water tank is full, the indicator light will be on, the buzzer will sound 5 times, the display screen will display “E3”, and the compressor will automatically start running. At this time, the water plug at the drain under the machine can be removed, and the water can be discharged through the drain pipe. The machine returned to normal operation.
  1. Temperature display conversion
    Long press the mode key to switch the display to Fahrenheit and Celsius.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

  • Make sure that the appliance is disconnected from the power supply before cleaning.
  • Do not use abrasive detergents or products that could damage the appliance. Simply clean the surface with a wet cloth.
  • Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
  • Store the appliance in a safe and dry place.
  1. Air Filter
    • If the air filter becomes clogged with dust/dirt, the air filter should be cleaned once every two weeks.
    • Dismounting: Open the air inlet grille and take off the air filter.
    • Cleaning: Clean the air filter with neural detergent in lukewarm (40ºC) and dry it up in the shade.
    • Mounting: Putting the air filter into the inlet grille, and replacing the components as they were.
  2. Clean the Air-conditioner Surface
    First, clean the surface with a neutral detergent and wet cloth, and then wipe it with a dry cloth.

Connect or clean the exhaust air hose.

– The sound comes from the flow of the refrigerant inside the air conditioner.

| Place the unit on a flat, level ground if possible.

6. E2 Code| The evaporator coil sensor failed| Replace the evaporator coil sensor.
7. E3 Code| Water tank full| Please empty the water tank.
