SAFETY WARNINGS

These instructions are highly important, please read this instruction manual before using the device and save it for future reference.

JOCCA is only responsible for proper use of this product as describe in this manual.

Before using the device for the first time, unpack and verify that it is in perfect condition, if not, do not use the device and go to JOCCA as the warranty covers all manufacturing defects.

This product is only suitable for domestic use. Do not use the device outdoors. Do not leave the device upon exposure to outside factors such as rain, snow, sun, etc.

This appliance can be used by children of 8 and above, and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge if they are supervised or instructed in an appropriate and safe way about the use of the appliance and understand the hazards involved. Any cleaning and maintenance must be carried out by the user or if they are carried out by a child of 8 or above they must be supervised. Keep the appliance and its cable out of the reach of children under 8 years old.

Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the device.

If the power supply cable or the plug are damaged, do not use the appliance or try to replace the cable yourself. Contact the customer service where they will replace it correctly for you, in order to avoid any danger.

Do not pull the cable to unplug the appliance from the mains, always pull from the plug.

Do not immerse the appliance or any part of It in water or any other liquid.

The electricity supply cable should always be completely unro- lled to avoid overheating.

If your appliance has been dropped or fallen into water or any other liquid do not use it or try to repair it. Take it to the JOCCA technical service.

For your safety and for the appliance to work correctly, always use JOCCA spare parts and accessories.

Do not use the cable to transport or to raise the appliance.

Please make sure that the O/ OFF is pressed before plugging into the mains electricity supply.

The appliance should always be unplugged when not in use, before cleaning the same, of if it does not operate correctly.
-
The appliance must not be wall or ceiling mounted. It must always be placed on a dry flat surface in a well ventilated area.
-
Please do not use the appliance near a source of heat, such as a fireplace, kitchen stove, heating appliance etc….

Do not cover the air vent with the appliance in operation.
-
Do not use the fan without the protection grids or if the protection grids are not correctly installed.
-
Do not use the appliance with wet hands or barefoot.
-
Never touch the moving parts of the appliance.
Never put your fingers or any other object in the air inlet or outlet. Never insert any object that might block or break the appliance. -
Do not use the appliance in association with a programmer, timer or other device that automatically switches it on.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Appliance assembly and start up:
- Before starting any assembly operation, please ensure that the appliance is in the O position and that it is not connected to the mains electricity supply.
- Put the two long supports in a crossed position to form the base support.
- Then screw down the height adjustment spindle on the base of the cross with the 4 screws supplied.
- Put embellisher 1 on the base and then screw on embellisher 2 and adjust to the desired height.
- Take the motor and place it on the spindle. To fix it in place tighten the butterfly nut and bolt that is supplied with this part.
- Put the rear protecting grid in place in the holes and tighten down the fixing nut to the right as far as possible, then put the blades in place and tighten down the blade fixing nut to the left.
- Finally put the front protecting grid in place in the two top holes fixing the same with the protection clips.
- Once the two protecting grids are in place, tighten them down with the nut and bolt and close all the safety clips.
To put the fan blades in place, please take the following steps:
- -Put in place the rear protecting grille by pushing the studs through the holes in the grille support.
- -Screw the fixing nut down tightly to the right (“p”)
- -Put the fan blades in place on the motor spindle, taking into consideration that the blades themselves fit in perfectly with the two spindle stops (please see illustration)
- -Screw the blade fixing nuts down tightly (“q”) towards the left 5.-Put in place the front protecting grille by fitting together the hole and the protection clips.
- -Once the two protecting grilles are in place, fix them down with the screw and snap down all the safety clips.
Starting up the appliance:

Please ensure that the ON/OFF switch is in the 0/ OFF position before plugging it into the mains electricity supply.

Connect the appliance to the mains electricity supply.

Please choose the airflow speed you require. Three positions can be selected:
“1” — low airflow.
“2″ — medium airflow.
“3” — maximum airflow. -
For the fan to sweep from left to right, press down the stop/sweep button located on the rear of the fan. If you want to stop the fan from sweeping pull the button upwards gently and it will stop sweeping immediately.

The tilting of the fan can be done manually. To do this, turn off the fan, take hold of the motor body in your hands and adjust the fan head by pushing gently to the angle desired. Once this has been done you can turn on the fan again.

Please always unplug the appliance once you have finished using the same.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
- Before cleaning, please ensure that the appliance is disconnected from the mains electricity supply.
- Clean the appliance firstly with a slightly dampened cloth and then with a dry cloth.
- Clean the grid from time to time with a brush to eliminate any dust that might have accumulated on the same.
- Dismantle the fan in the opposite way to which it was assembled and clean the blades with soapy water.
- Please do not use abrasive detergents or products that might damage the appliance.
- Please use a damp cloth to clean the motor base.
- NEVER SUBMERGE THE MOTOR BASE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
- Store the appliance in a dry place.

date of purchase. The consumer will have the right of free repair of any
breakdown caused by faulty manufacture, and JOCCA will cover the repair costs
including materials and labour costs.
CONDITIONS: For this guarantee to be valid, you must keep the sales
invoice, sales ticket or delivery note that proves the date of purchase of the
product. If it is modified, its validity will be lost. The following are
excluded from this Guarantee: any breakdown, imperfections, or damage done to
the product due to unsuitable treatment, misuse, the use of non-original
accessories or spare parts, exposure to adverse climatological conditions,
burst batteries, abuse, knocks, falls, inadequate or insufficient
installation, electricity supply cuts, damage by water, WEAR AND TEAR DUE TO
USE, repairs not carried out by our Technical Servicing Department, or
ignoring the instruction manual warnings and indications. -The guarantee does
not cover accessories such as glass jugs, filters, bags… or any periodical
servicing and maintenance. This certificate has been drafted in accordance
with that laid down in Directive 2011/83/EU on the Sale of Consumer Goods and
Certain Guarantees (dated October 2011) under which consumers are protected
