- Proceed with care when assembling and mounting the product! The product has some sharp edges and there is a risk of injury!
- Only carry out the work necessary to mount (or adjust) the product. Never attempt to dismantle, convert or repair the product. Some products contain heavily pre-loaded metal springs. In case of improperdisassembly, there is a risk of serious injuries!
- Carry out the assembly very conscientiously, as components falling down or overturning can lead to both expensive consequential damage, and to a risk of injury!
- Place the product on a stable, leveled, and horizontal surface.
- In case of doubt, do not perform the installation yourself; leave it to a professional.
- Lay all cables so that they are not jammed or bent in the product.
- Occasionally check all screw fasteners including any retaining clips. As a result of adjustment and movement, the screw fasteners can eventually loosen over time.
- Do not use force when moving/adjusting, as this can damage the moving components.
- When moving/adjusting, do not press on the surface (e.g. desktop) of the moving component!
- Never overload the product. Pay attention to the manufacturer’s information about the maximum weight.
- Do not use the product to support yourself.
- Do not place any objects (including cables) near the moving components (including electrical lifting equipment) as this may damage the product.
- Warning: Pay attention to your hands and other parts of your body.
- The mains socket must be located near to the device and be easily accessible.
- Only connect the power adapter to a standard mains socket connected to the public grid. Before plugging in the power adapter, check whether the voltage stated on the power adapter complies with the voltage of your electricity supplier.
- Never connect or disconnect power adapters if your hands are wet.
- Never unplug the mains adapter from the mains socket by pulling on the cable; always use the grips on the plug.
- When setting up the product, make sure that the cables are not pinched, kinked, or damaged by sharp edges.
- Always lay the cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled in them. This poses a risk of injury.
- For safety reasons, disconnect the power adapter from the main socket during storms.
- Do not touch the mains adapter if there are any signs of damage, as this may cause a fatal electric shock! Switch off the mains voltage to the socket containing the power adapter (switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove the safety fuse, and then switch off at the corresponding RCD protective switch). You can then unplug the mains adapter from the mains socket. Dispose of the faulty mains adapter in an environmentally friendly manner and discontinue use. Replace it with a power adapter of the same design.
- Never pour liquids over electrical devices or place objects filled with liquid next to the device. If liquid or an object gets into the device, power down the respective mains socket (e.g. switch off the circuit breaker), and then pull the mains plug from the mains socket. Discontinue use and take the product to a specialist repair center.
- If your product is intended for short-term use, observe the operating and pause times as indicated on the nameplate and in the technical data.
- Trained personnel must supervise the use of electrical appliances in schools, training facilities and DIY workshops.
- On commercial premises, the relevant accident prevention regulations for electrical equipment must be complied with.
- Consult a technician if you are not sure how to use or connect the product, or if you have concerns about safety.
