Product Usage Instructions
Connection and Setup
- Connect the mains power adaptor to the rear power socket of the soundbar and plug it into a wall socket.
- Connect audio devices using the appropriate input ports (3.5mm, Optical TOSLINK, HDMI ARC).
- Adjust volume settings on both the speaker and your device.
TOSLINK Optical Input
- Insert a TOSLINK optical cable into the corresponding port on the soundbar and connect the other end to your audio device.
- Ensure TV audio settings are configured for TOSLINK/Optical output.
- Adjust digital audio output format to PCM if needed.
3.5mm Audio Input 1 & 2
- Use a 3.5mm auxiliary cable to connect your audio device to the soundbar.
- Auxiliary mode will automatically start playing once connected.
HDMI ARC Input
- Connect a HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC input port on the soundbar and your TV or monitor.
- HDMI ARC mode will start playing automatically upon connection.

the product. We recommend you keep the original packaging for storing the
product when not in use.
Find a safe and convenient place to keep this instruction manual for future
reference.
Unpack the product but keep all packaging materials until you have made sure
your new product is undamaged and in good working order. Ensure you have all
accessories listed in this manual.
SAFETY
- Do not open the case of the speaker to avoid damage and injury.
- Keep the speaker away from high temperatures as it may cause damage to the speaker and battery.
- If using a replacement or third party mains power adaptor; make sure the voltage and current match the specifications as 15VDC.

OPERATION
Bluetooth® Pairing

Connect the plug of the mains power adaptor to the rear power socket of the sound bar. Connect the opposite side of the mains power adaptor to a standard 240VAC wall socket

Press and hold the power button for up to 2 seconds to turn the unit on. The sound bar will automatically enter Bluetooth® mode and the LED will begin to flash.

Open the settings of your TV, smart phone or tablet and ensure Bluetooth® is turned on.

Once your Bluetooth® is enabled; scan for devices and the Bluetooth® name
XC- 5233 should appear. If the name doesn’t appear then please ensure the speaker is correctly powered on and the correct mode is selected.

Select the XC-5233 on the Bluetooth® device list and your TV, smartphone or tablet should show that it is now connected.

You can now start playing audio from your TV, smartphone or tablet. The volume can be adjusted from both the speaker and your device. The LED will stay blue once connected.
NOTE: If the speaker can’t be connected; then please restart the speaker or the device and try again. Press and hold the mode button to disconnect the current device connected.
TOSLINK Optical Input
- Insert a TOSLINK optical cable (not included) to the TOSLINK optical audio input socket located at the rear of the speaker.
- Insert the opposite end of the TOSLINK optical cable to an audio device such as your TV or monitor.
- The TOSLINK optical mode will automatically start playing once the device has been inserted.
- Depending on your brand of TV or monitor being used; you may need to adjust the audio settings of your TV for the device to be picked up.
- Make sure that your output sound settings are set on TOSLINK/Optical so that it’s playing correctly.
- Open the advanced settings and find the digital audio output format and change to PCM which should start playing straight away. The settings will differ depending on the brand of TV.
3.5mm Audio Input 1 & 2
- Insert a 3.5mm to 3.5mm auxiliary cable (not included) to the 3.5mm audio input 1 or 2 sockets located at the rear of the speaker.
- Insert the opposite end of the 3.5mm to 3.5mm auxiliary cable to an audio device such as a smartphone, tablet or computer.
- The Aux mode will automatically start playing once the device has been inserted. You can now play, pause or skip tracks from your audio device.
HDMI ARC Input
- Insert a HDMI cable (not included) to the HDMI ARC input socket located at the rear of the speaker.
- Insert the opposite end of the HDMI cable to your TV or monitor that is equipped with a HDMI ARC port.
- The HDMI ARC mode will automatically start playing once the device has been inserted.
NOTE: Your TV or monitor must be equipped with HDMI Audio Return Chan-nel (ARC) in order for this mode to work.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem | Solution |

No Audio | Ensure the volume is correctly turned up on the speaker. |
Ensure the volume is correctly turned on your audio device if connected in
Bluetooth® mode.
Try a different audio source or mode; it may be your device not transmitting
audio.
Bluetooth® Will Not Pair| Restart the speaker and audio device.
Type in the password “0000” if it asks you for one.
Make sure the mode of the speaker is selected to “BT” and the Bluetooth® is
turned on from your device.

Q: What should I do if the speaker cannot be connected?
