Operation:

Bluetooth® Pairing:

  1. Press the power on the button located at the rear of the speaker. If the unit has no power due to a low battery, then connect the 9VDC power supply to the DC power socket.

  2. Press the mode button until “BLUE” (Bluetooth®) mode is selected.

  3. Open the settings of your smartphone or tablet and ensure Bluetooth® is turned on.

  4. Once your Bluetooth® is enabled; scan for devices and the Bluetooth® name “Blue” should appear. If the name doesn’t appear then please ensure the speaker is correctly powered on and the correct input is selected.
    Bluetooth® Name: Blue

  5. Press the “Blue” name on the Bluetooth® device list and your smartphone or tablet should show that it is connected.

  6. You can now start playing audio from your smartphone or tablet.

Note: If the speaker can’t be connected; then please restart the speaker or the device and try again.

Audio Line In:

  1. Press the mode button and select “LINE” (Aux Line In).
  2. Insert a 3.5mm to 3.5mm auxiliary cable (not included) into the 3.5mm audio input socket located at the rear of the speaker.
  3. You can now play, pause or skip tracks from your audio devices such as a smartphone, tablet, computer, or MP3 player.

USB/SD Card Playback:

  1. Insert a USB flash drive or SD card into the USB or SD card slot.
  2. The USB and SD card are plug and play once it has been inserted. If you have inserted both the USB and SD card; it will automatically play the last device inserted. You can now play, pause or skip tracks from either the USB or SD card.
  3. The music audio formats supported are MP3, WMA, and WAV. It will play the folder selection in order of the date that it has been placed on the USB or SD card.

Note: The USB and microSD card needs to be formatted to FAT32. it is suggested to copy the music files to the root directory and remove unnecessary files to read faster.

FM Radio:

  1. Press the mode button and select “87.5” (FM Radio).
  2. Press the play/pause HI button to start automatically searching for an FM radio station.
  3. Press the play/pause HI button again to stop and save your selected FM radio station.
  4. Press the previous f+4 or the next Hi track buttons to switch between the different channels such as CH01, CH02, etc.

Infrared Remote Control:

  1. The infrared remote needs to be pointed at the front of the speaker. The infrared receiver is located in between the woofer and the tweeter.

The operating distance of the remote is around 6 meters and will operate at an angle of 30°.
Note: Ensure they’re no obstacles in between the remote control and infrared receiver as it may not work.

Charging:

  1. Insert the 9VDC mains power adaptor to a standard 240VAC wall socket and turn it on.
  2. Insert the DC plug from the mains power adaptor into the DC socket located at the rear of the speaker.
  3. The LED status indicator will start flashing red which indicates it is now charging. Charging will be completed in around 5-6 hours.
  4. Once fully charged; the LED status indicator will turn green.

Note: Please disconnect the mains power adaptor when not in use as leaving a full battery on the charge may cause damage to the battery.

12V Battery Input:
Even though this battery has an internal Li-ion battery, you may connect this speaker to an external battery for additional battery life.

  1. Connect a 12V SLA battery to the positive and negative inputs located at the rear of the speaker. Ensure the polarity is correct.

Troubleshooting

Problem: Solution:
Battery Won’t Charge Or Power On Connect the mains power adaptor to the DC

socket on the speaker and connect properly to a 240VAC wall socket.
Make sure the battery is fully charged for up to 9 hours and make sure the LED status indicator has turned green.
If you have left the mains power adaptor connected to the speaker unused for a long period of time; it may have caused damage to the battery.
Sound Is Distorted| Try to adjust the volume, treble, and bass as it may be too high depending on the input.
No Audio| Ensure the volume is correctly turned up depending on the main and microphone volume.
Ensure the volume is correctly turned on your audio device if connected in Bluetooth® mode.
Try a different audio source or mode; it may be your device not transmitting audio.

Infrared Remote Control Not Working| Check to see if the batteries are working correctly and inserted in the correct way.
Remove the obstacles between the remote control and receiver as they will interfere.
Make sure the infrared remote is pointing at the front of the speaker which is located in between the tweeter and the woofer.
Bluetooth® Will Not Pair| Restart the speaker and smartphone or tablet.
Type in the password “0000” if it asks you for one.
Make sure the audio input of the speaker is selected to “BT” and the Bluetooth® is turned on from your device.
No Power| Ensure the power supply is connected properly to a 240VAC wall socket and turned on.
Check to see if the mains power adaptor is working correctly; if not then it may need to be replaced with a new one.

USB/SD Card Not Recognised| Ensure the format of the USB or SD card is in FAT32. Plug into a computer to check or change the current format.
Make sure the USB or SD card is below 32GB capacity.
Ensure the USB and SD card are inserted correctly and try to restart the speaker.
LED Display Won’t Turn On| Connect the mains power adaptor to the device and turn the unit on.
Check to see if the mains power adaptor is working correctly.

Safety:

  1. Do not open the case of the speaker to avoid damage and injury.
  2. Keep the speaker away from high temperatures as it may cause damage to the speaker and battery.
  3. Do not expose the speaker to water, moisture, or liquids to prevent the unit from being damaged.
  4. Disconnect the mains power adaptor when not in use long term as it may cause permanent damage.
  5. Fully charge the battery within 48 hours if the battery is under voltage to prevent damage to the battery.
  6. Make sure the mains power adaptor is connected correctly to a standard 240VAC wall socket.
  7. If using a replacement or third-party mains power adaptor; make sure the voltage and current match the specifications as 9VDC, 1.5A.
