Product Usage Instructions

Getting Started:

  1. Unbox the contents and ensure you have the tablet, bumper case, charger, and USB-C cable.
  2. Familiarize yourself with the tablet components including the rear camera, charging port (USB Type-C), headphone port, SIM tray, speaker, volume buttons, power button, and microphone.
  3. To power on/off the device, press and hold the power button.

Inserting SIM Card:

  1. Use the SIM tool to open the SIM tray.
  2. Insert the Nano SIM card into the SIM tray as shown in the manual.
  3. For optimal network performance, use the provided SIM card.

AT &T amiGOTM Setup:

  1. Download the AT&T amiGOTM app on your phone for communicating with the tablet.
  2. Start the tablet and follow on-screen prompts to set up for a child user if needed.
  3. If setting up for a child, proceed with Google Kids Space setup for age-appropriate content.
  4. Set parental controls and supervise app content settings through Google Family Link.

Pairing with AT &T amiGOTM Parent App:

  1. Scan the QR code or enter the activation code to pair the tablet with the parent app.
  2. Add or approve contacts through the parent’s AT&T amiGOTM app.

Welcome to AT &T amiGO™

  • AT&T amiGO™ is a free service that connects you to your kids’ tablet with location services, parental controls, and communication features. You can get real-time location information and set SafeZones to receive notices when your child enters or leaves a predefined zone. Communication features include messaging, voice calls, and video calling through the AT&T amiGO platform.
  • Parents will manage and communicate with the tablet by using the AT&T amiGO application on their smartphone downloaded via the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store®. Parents with the AT&T amiGO app will be able to access location and communication services, and they can also invite others as trusted Contacts. The AT&T amiGO app is required.

Download the parent app

Parents, you will use the AT&T amiGO™ app to communicate with your child’s tablet. Before beginning setup on the tablet,

  1. Download the app to your phone. Scan the QR code for a link to download the AT&T amiGO app:
  2. Launch the app and create a new parent account if you don’t already have one. Your AT&T amiGO account is separate from your AT&T Service Account.
  3. Log in using your AT&T amiGO credentials.

If not setting up the tablet for a child, please skip the AT&T amiGO setup.

Setup tablet for a child user

  1. Press and hold the power button to start the tablet.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts. A user selection, choose a child user.
  3. Sign in to the child’s Google account, and agree to the terms.
  4. Choose a Google parent account to supervise your child’s tablet use and sign in for verification.
  5. Continue to Google Family Link setup.

AT&T has partnered with Google to bring best-in-class age-appropriate content and entertainment via Google Kids Space!

  1. When asked if you want to set up Google Kids Space, select Set up.
  2. Follow the on screen prompts to set parental controls on app content settings, daily use limits, and more.
  3. At the Manage other apps on this device screen, leave the AT&T amiGO™ app checked.

Pair tablet with AT&TamiGO parent app

  1. Continue to the AT&T amiGO™ app setup on the tablet.
  2. When the QR code appears, use your device to scan the QR code, or type in the 8-digit activation code, and pair the tablet to your account.

Once paired, use the AT&T amiGO app on your device to manage the tablet’s parental controls, SafeZones, add contacts, call, message, and track location.

Inviting Contacts

Contacts can only be added or approved from the parent’s AT&T amiGO™ app on their device.

  1. Select the side menu and then All Contacts.
  2. Tap the Add Contact button.
  3. Select devices this new contact will be able to access.
  4. Select the contact’s permissions to manage location and communicate with the child’s tablet.

Note:
Since all communication with the tablet will be within the AT&T amiGO app, invited contacts will need to download the AT&T amiGO app onto their device.

Chat and call from your tablet’s AT&T amiGO™ app

From Google Kids Space, follow these steps:

  • Tap Play
  • Select My stuff
  • Tap AT&T amiGO™ and then select Call or Chat. Calls and texts are received by the AT&T amiGO app.

Note: Call can make video or voice calls.
