Machine Assembly
Installing the Handle
- Fit the handle component (A) onto the handle bracket (B).
- Use one screw (C), two Φ10 flat washers (D), and two M10 locknuts (E) to assemble and secure the components together.
- Tighten the Nuts: Make sure to tighten the nuts securely to ensure stability.
Installing the Lock Block
- Mount the lock block (B) onto the lever (A).
- Position the two connecting plates (C) to align with the mounting holes of the lock block.
- Insert a square hole flat washer (D) and the lock block handle assembly (E) into each of the mounting holes of the lock block.
- Attach and tighten the lock block handle (F) to secure everything in place.
Installing the Water Tank
- Place the water tank (B) onto the lever (A).
- Use one plastic U-shaped washer (C) and one U-shaped bolt (D) to pass through the mounting hole of the water tank.
- Attach one fixing plate (E) and two M8 nuts (F) together, and assemble them onto the U-shaped bolt.
- Use the same assembly method to install the top U-shaped bolt assembly.
- Adjust the position of the water tank as needed and tighten the nuts to secure it in place.
Connecting the Power Cord
- Simply plug the motor power cord plug (A) into the power cord plug (B).
Removing and Installing the Brush or Pad Driver
- Ensure that the lock block on the lever is locked. If not, lock it.
- Lay the machine on its side on the floor (it can also be laid flat).
- Grasp the brush or pad driver on the machine and rotate it counterclockwise (as shown in View A) to remove it.
- To install it, rotate it clockwise (as shown in View B).
Adjust the Water Output
- Increasing Water Flow: Rotate the water valve knob at the top of the water tank counterclockwise to open the water valve. This also allows you to control the amount of water output.
- Decreasing/Closing Water Flow: Rotate the water valve **** knob clockwise until it stops to close the water valve.
Operation Instructions
Operating Steps
- Adjust the Handle: Loosen the lock handle, adjust the operating handle to a suitable height, then lock it in place (refer to section “Installing the Handle”).
- Connect Power: Unwind and connect the pre-assembled machine’s power cord to an outlet.
- Starting the Machine: The switch handles are designed on the left and right sides. They can be used individually or simultaneously. For safety, start the machine using the switch handle in combination with the safety switch. Press and hold the safety switch button while the machine is running, then release it after starting. Releasing the switch handle stops the machine.
- Using the Machine: After starting, gently push or pull the control lever to move the scrubber automatically to the right or left. Pushing down on the machine increases pressure behind the brush or pad, moving it left; lifting the lever increases pressure in front, moving it right.
- Selecting the Correct Brush/Pads: Choose the appropriate brush or polishing pad.
Brush Selection
- Use a hard brush for daily maintenance and cleaning floors.
- Use a soft brush for cleaning carpets and wooden floors.
- Use a steel wire brush for heavy-duty renovation of hard materials.
Burnishing Pad Selection
- Use a red pad for floor washing and regular maintenance.
- Use a white pad for polishing and waxing.
- Use a black pad for stripping wax.
Cleaning Floors
- Choose a hard brush for floors with heavy grease or other heavy contaminants.
- Install the hard brush onto the machine.
- Add water or a mixture of water and detergent to the water tank.
- Open the water valve and adjust the water output.
- Operate the machine following the steps mentioned.
- Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dirty water.
- Optionally, use a powerful dryer to dry the floor quickly.
Cleaning Carpets
Follow the same steps as cleaning floors, but use a soft brush and ensure that
the carpet is dried thoroughly with a powerful dryer.
Polishing, Waxing, and Stripping
- For post-cleaning stone floors, wood floors, tiles, and other high-requirement surfaces, polishing and waxing are needed.
- Install the pad driver onto the machine and choose the appropriate pad.
- Operate the machine as instructed.
Crystal Surface Maintenance
- Crystal Hard Treatment is the best maintenance method when feasible.
- Tools and Materials: Floor machine, red pad, spray bottle, dust mop, crystal surface maintainer, crystal hard powder.
- Routine Maintenance: Use weekly with a nano-wool pad. Spray a small amount of crystal surface maintainer or crystal hard powder on a clean or pre-washed floor (mix crystal hard powder with water, adjusting the amount based on humidity). Use 1-2 grams per square meter. Polish with the machine until shiny and then clean the floor dust with a mop. Work in sections of 10 – 20 square feet. Keep the pads clean for the best effect; flip them over when dirty and replace them when both sides are soiled. Have enough clean pads ready for the area being worked on. Steel wool pads may be used for better results for smooth, dark-colored surfaces, but be cautious of surface irregularities and dirt accumulation on the pads
Daily Maintenance and Troubleshooting
-
No Power Response After Starting
- Check the Power Cord: Ensure it’s properly connected.
- Inspect Connections: Check if the plug between the lever and the motor is securely connected.
- Examine Wiring and Switch: After confirming the above, inspect the wiring and the switch for any issues.
-
Motor Buzzing Under Load
If the machine runs normally when not loaded but the motor buzzes and the chassis doesn’t move under load, it’s time to replace the start capacitor. -
Slowing Down at Higher Grit Polishing
If the machine works fine with 50# or 500# grit but slows down or stops with 1000# grit, you should replace the run capacitor. A slow-running machine under strain or an overheating motor also indicates a damaged run capacitor. -
Low Voltage Issues
Address low voltage with an electrician. Use an extension cord with a wire gauge larger than 2.5mm². Avoid using cables longer than 30 meters, as long cables or thin wires can cause voltage drops, resulting in slower machine speeds, motor overheating, and burnt run capacitors. Persistent voltage below 110V can cause motor burning smell and tripping. -
Motor Runs but Chassis Doesn’t Rotate
If the motor starts and runs normally but the chassis doesn’t rotate, the coupling needs replacement. -
Slow Motor Operation Despite Normal Start Current
If the motor centrifugal switch is malfunctioning, it can lead to slow and weak operation. -
Excessive Static Electricity or Tripping
Check if the machine is properly grounded. For tripping issues, inspect if any external wires are damp, or check if the capacitor connections are loose or touching the capacitor box cover, causing leakage. -
Motor Smoking
Inspect the capacitor for damage and further examine the motor. -
Excessive Noise in Older Machines
Apart from loose irons or wheels, check for worn motor bearings or gearbox central teeth. Repair by welding or replacing parts to eliminate noise.
For a greener clean: Regular maintenance ensures the smooth operation of your machine and contributes to its longevity, reducing the need for frequent replacements and thus supporting sustainability. Remember to handle electrical components carefully and consult a professional for complex issues.
