Product Usage Instructions

Temperature and Humidity Guidelines:

The well-being during sauna sessions greatly depends on the temperature and humidity levels within the sauna. Here are the recommended guidelines:

  • For a temperature of 60 degrees Celsius:
    • Humidity should be maintained at 15-30% relative humidity (r.F.)
  • For a temperature of 80 degrees Celsius:
    • Humidity should be maintained at 8-15% relative humidity (r.F.)
  • For a temperature of 100 degrees Celsius:
    • Humidity should be maintained at 3-8% relative humidity (r.F.)

Mounting Instructions

  • To ensure accurate readings, it is recommended to mount the sauna thermo-hygrometer at a level with the head of the person sitting on the topmost bench.
  • This is typically around 20 to 30 cm from the ceiling of the sauna.

Instructions For Use

The well-being at sauna-bathing in the first place depends on the temperature and humidity situation prevailing in the sauna. In general a temperature of 80 to 90 °C is considered to be the optimum one.

Normal humidity: Account must be taken to the fact that the increase of temperature causes a decrease of the relative air humidity. Thus, the normal humidity in the sauna is also dependent on the temperature.

  • 60 degrees Centigrade: 15-30 percent air-humidity
  • 80 degrees Centigrade: 8-15 percent air-humidity
  • 100 degrees Centigrade: 3-8 per cent air-humidity

Suspension

  • We do recommend to mount the sauna-thermo-hygrometer on a level with the head of the person sitting on the topmost bench.
  • In most cases, this will be in a 20 to 30 cm distance from the ceiling of the sauna.

Correction of the pointer position

  • Corrections of the pointer position can be done by means of the adjusting screws (see device back).
