Product Information

  • Cut a suitable round hole in the ceiling.
  • Connect the driver and luminaire. The power needs to be connected from inside the ceiling cavity before the luminaire can be installed.
  • Push the spring clips upwards and install the luminaire in the ceiling.
  • Note: For the first usage, power ON the unit for 24 hours to fully charge the battery. Interrupting the mains supply will discharge the battery.
  • The emergency lamp must illuminate for at least 90 minutes after disconnection from the mains.
  • Press and hold the Test Button or switch Off the Mains Supply, and check the emergency lamp is ON.
  • Release the Test Button or Switch On the Mains Supply, and check the normal lamp is OFF (NON-Maintained operation).

Every month, the unit will discharge itself for 30 seconds. If the main power supply does not switch off for 12 months, the unit will discharge itself until out of battery, then will charge again.

Important
It is illegal for anyone, except for a licensed electrician to install or maintain this product. Before installation, ensure that the electricity supply has been switched off and isolated. Installation must be carried out under the relevant Australian and International Standards.

Installation

Testing

Warranty

  • Products have 3 year (from the date of purchase) replacement warranty including battery.
  • Products have to be connected to permanent live power otherwise warranty will be void.
  • Must be installed by a licensed electrician.
  • This warranty does not cover loss or damage by misuse, incorrect installation, incorrect voltage or unauthorized electrical connections, or adverse external conditions (such as power surges and dips, exposure to heat, corrosion, etc).
  • Products that have been altered in any way or used other than under instruction are not covered by this warranty.
